Lighthouse Build On The New Pond

Over the last 6 weeks I have been working on a working lighthouse to sit on the edge of the new pond and cover the well and electrical outlet. I have been trying to figure out a good place for a light over the last couple of years and this is the perfect addition. The ducks and geese seem to really enjoy it as they are often seen on the pond late at night as well as first thing in the morning. No, I didn't do up any plans as I used mostly scrap wood. If you like I can measure the dimensions of it for you. The most important thing is to get the angles and the pitch of the cuts right, for this I used small scrap pieces.

I built something similar in 1998 on my drivewway facing the bay. To make it look like a real working light house, I purchased online an outlet flasher that was used with the old style christmas bulbs to give it that light on and off effect. Nice work! congrats on the light house.

Im wanting to build a coollighthouse like this, I dont have a pond but that is also another project. LED is the way to go with the light for sure 👍

Might want to consider latch for the hatch. Keep rain from getting in and possibly gusts of wind. You are awesome builder.
