@JOSEPH CUNNINGHAM Unicron: "Megatron… Megatron… welcome, Megatron!" Megatron: "Who… who said that?" Unicron: "I… am Unicron." Megatron: "Show yourself!" Unicron: "I have summoned you here for a purpose." Megatron: [outraged] "No one summons Megatron!" Unicron: [amused] "Then it pleases me to be the first." Megatron: "State your business." Unicron: "This is my command: you are to destroy the Autobot Matrix of Leadership. It is the one thing, the only thing that can stand in my way." Megatron: "You have nothing to fear. I've already crushed Optimus Prime with my bare hands!" Unicron: "You exaggerate." Megatron: "The point is he's dead, and the Matrix died with him!" Unicron: "No, the point is you're a fool! The Matrix has been passed on to their new leader… Ultra Magnus. Destroy it for me." Megatron: "Why should I? What's in it for me?!" Unicron: "Your bargaining posture is highly dubious… but very well, I will provide you with a new body and new troops to command." Megatron: "And?" Unicron: [irritated tone] "And NOTHING! You belong to me now." Megatron: "I belong to NOBODY!!!" Unicron: "Perhaps I have misjudged you. Proceed… on your way to oblivion." Megatron: [screams in agony] "AAAAAH!!! NO, NO!! I ACCEPT YOUR TERMS!!! I ACCEPT!!!" Unicron: "Excellent.................. Behold… Galvatron! And these shall be your minions… Scourge the tracker, and his henchmen, the Sweeps. Cyclonus the warrior, and his armada. And this… shall be your ship. Now go… destroy the Autobot Matrix." Galvatron: (TOTAL BADASS) "I will rip up Ultra Magnus and every other Autobot until the Matrix has been destroyed! To Cybertron!" Unicron: "Destroy the Matrix!"
1:56 I love the choir music. It's so mysterious and otherworldly, just like Unicron himself. This was, is, always has been, and always will be the greatest Transformers movie of all time. Til all are one.
hearing the voice of unicron making his mark forever in the transformer world from 80 till 2023 never can the chaos bringer be forgotten in the world of transformers evil choas in true form
I think this is my favorite scene in the movie. You get to witness megatron, the leader of the decepticons for centuries among centuries, make his last stand against an entity fathoms more powerful than him. And to see him succumb to unicorns wish is haunting. And to see him be reborn as such a powerful and fear instilling being, but almost wiped of what made him megatron... its hauntingly beautiful. To see him at the fight against hot rod, when his eyes start twitch after more torture and the grimace on his face, it feels to me like that was the start of his madness.
This version sounds epic. Half of this track was drowned out by the voices of Unicron and Megatron (later Galvatron), and to hear it in its entirety is genuinely awe- and fear-inspiring. It's like you're in an audience with a god, and rightly so.
***** "..but the fact is Unicron is practically a God that the Transformers first encounter. He's closer to a malovent God, not a devil." I do not see the view in which we differ. Nor do I completely understand the point you are making in this response.
***** In the notion of "Gods vs. Devils", I believe one would need an electron microscope to see the hairs you are splitting in that. Not to mention that the Judaeo-Christian notion of "the Devil" is not the only way identify such a being. Such as the Japanese Akuma which is referred as a demon or devil of incredibly ill luck. Also, let's not forget, the main point of the Devil, using the Judaeo-Christian spin, as a literary figure and as a figure in religious thought is that he/she/it is a force of temptation. And the corruption that comes from falling victim to those temptations. Usually via promises of power/control/freedom/etc for the simple cost of servitude in the most spiritually compromising way. I think Unicron, in offering Megatron a second chance at life as a bound servant fills that role, very nicely.
*****"Maybe I am splitting hairs with my baby, but as an educated historian on these things I couldn't let your comment pass without correctly it. I know, it's annoying, but it gives you the chance to know about the origin/inspiration behind these things. I daresay you'll be learning more than me. " I offer that you "dare" more than you "say" in this. Quite a bit more, in fact. I am not one that enjoy's being condescended to. /At all/. Should you wish to continue this conversation, I would ask that you leave that particular brand of business at the door. Now then.. I am well aware of the allusion to Glactus in Unicron and the Silver Surfer in Galvatron. However Galactus, as much as a being of that level of power and existence could be seen as one (as he is a refugee from the last universe and all), is not a "God". He simply /is/. And even if he were seen as a God, Silver Surfer would be less a "Fallen Angel" and more an Avatar. Not unlike Krishna. Imbued with the Power Cosmic. Also, let's not forget that becoming the Harold of Galactus was /Norrin Radd's/ idea, if memory serves. Servitude in exchange for holding off the Devourer's vast hunger just long enough to find another world upon which he could feed that was not his hometown. Back to my original point, that you did not comment on I may add, is that the main point of "The Devil", as a literary figure and as a figure in religious thought is that he/she/it is a force of temptation and corruption though promises of power/control/freedom/etc at the price of spiritual/corporal servitude. Unicron filled that role with aplomb, much to Galvatron's chagrin.
***** "That's what Norrin Radd did with Galactus" No, that's not what Norrin Radd did /at all/. Norrin gave of himself, offering to serve Galactus in exchange for the latter sparing the former's homeworld. If anything, he would be far closer to /the Martyr/ role in that tale than a soul sold for power. And, to be honest, I am still baffled as to what you were trying to accomplish in this exchange. You began this conversation by taking a laser to my saying that Unicron represented the Cybertonian equivalent to the Devil /6 months ago/ and parting that whisker at the molecular level. An few disjointed points, and load of assumptions peppered with condescension later (Do not think the fact that you have not addressed that, be it true on your end or not, has gone unnoticed), and we find ourselves here...with you setting to go an a tangent about Stan Lee mistreating a character that he co-created. So, /no/. I /do not/ understand where you are coming from. Not in the least. I am growing uncertain that I care to, at this juncture. I am more than willing to engage in an adult conversation and share views and ideas any day of the week, as evidenced by my continued presence. But, I think I have humored this long enough. Like a broken needle, this line of conversation is missing a point. In light of that, I will bid you "good day", sir or madam. And I leave in the hopes that you enjoyed the song as much as I did, as it was the most enjoyable part of returning here to write these replies. Be well and walk with your deity of choice, even if that choice is to decline such company. *Edit - Fixed a typo*

Galvatron: I will rip open Ultra Magnus and every other Autobot until the matrix has been destroyed. To Cybertron! Unicron: destroy the matrix.
It’s almost as if it gets more terrifying the more you listen to it. The dark endless possibilities of what could have happened and how it all works. How straight hard it goes at 3:47 Plus that short eerie segment of the track at 4:00 and the ending just adds to it all making it slightly overwhelming. It’s awesome. A movie that gets better with time
well in FFOD there is a bunch of Cyclonus clones (but miscolored) I think that with the time they start dying or something like Sweep No.4 and Sweep No.13
Unicron: For a time I considered sparing your wretched little planet fo Cybertron but now you shall witness... ITS DISMEMBERMENT!!!! Galvatron: NOOOOOOOOOOOO

Hey, who removed my earlier comment? I only said that this song was epic as-is, without Megatron talking to Unicron. That shouldn't have warranted a removal. 😓
