I was hyped when BSG released these last minute quests for next wipe reward, and then bummed to find out they are practically impossible to complete for people with full time jobs...
I love how employment equates to skill issue. Im employed full time 9-7 monday to friday and work a second job on saturdays, on saturday night / sunday morning into day i had enough time to rat the maps / objectives and finish almost all of them without any struggle.
This is why I like SPT-AKI, a tarkov mod where you can play the game offline and not have to worry about your progress being wiped. Good for those who want to make it to late game but can't find the time. There are community mods for SPT AKI which can make the experience feel more or less similar to online game play. I personally nodded my game to have AI PMCs which move similarly to players and will collect loot and stuff too, as well as some graphic mods to help with the games shading & make it look a little more real.
(Not a vet) but one of the first discord groups I joined was just two dozen mid twenties-early thirties Iraq vets. It was by far the best group I've ever played with - no BS, no shitty comments, just shooting the shit and playing games. I miss those guys sometimes. You'd probably have a lot of success getting something like that up with your following.
On the vet discord discussion. Yes. I had a strong sense of loneliness and misplacement when I left service. You really lose a big part of what you are once the uniform comes off.
As someone who left last year there is a few out there, if anyone is interested give THE ROYAL BRITISH LEGION a look up, they even do little tournaments for different charities etc if your that way inclined. Decent lads who are just there to chill with no bs or hating on people etc. Some still serving blokes too.
That was so cool! I’ve never seen anyone do that before. I didn’t even know you could get that far in the game. Great job! Glad to see that there are some really cool people playing and not just everyone out for themselves.

That's what I thought would be a good addition, people can make offers. If everyone is selling graphics cards for 400k and someone offers to buy them at 370k then people can sell them straight to them. And you can set how many you want as well. So say you need 10 bolts and their currently 25k you can list an offer to buy 10 at 20k a bolt. Therefor anyone can fulfil this order and not from 1 person specifically
Honestly the labs objectives shouldn't be locked behind a keycard and you shouldn't need SP-8(or make scavs have a chance to spawn with one to make it realistic to farm one).
Hey pest. Could you ask bsg about sp-8 spawn chances? Possibly making reshala 100% spawn. The time frame + the insane rng needed to get the machete is kinda ridiculous
I second this motion or make it a barter for the love of god I’ve gotten through this god forsaken task line and the machete is the only thing holding me back
the vet discord sounds sick. im an iraq vet with 1 non-gamer vet friend, so im all for it. i havent had friends in years, mainly because most people suck (and i dont socialize much)
16:12 Black Desert Online has that kind of trading system. The price is i think determined by the rarity of the items and you can only undercut or overprice the others by so much. Really like that idea.
@ 5:19 if you see this, I’m not sure if you’ve heard of RonnieFit, he’s from the states, but I’m sure he does a lot to do with veterans and gaming. I know he used to use all donations and and such from streams into building pc’s and giving them away to veterans.
I wish I could play. Currently deployed and it doesn't let me connect to any servers. It starts to load me in, then disconnects me and I can't load into the game. Such a shame. My first wipe I maxed out traders and felt like I "understood" the game and was actually getting better. Until next year
@pestily dude I have probably 8-10 guys I play tarkov with that are vets including myself. We all have filled you for awhile and would absolutely love a vet discord. Keep us updated lol
i just want the arena! i want the gun play physics and mechanics the movement all that goodness but im done doing the same quests with the same game loop over and over again i dont know youre still able to play these same missions so many times. i did like3-4 wipes and im bored that and the cheaters turned me off
get grinding! thats part of tarkov and the few changes they make are enough. people expect too much. how many games you got in your collection that have the life span of Tarkov? none
@@wtfdaily1637na it's repetitive grinding the same quest every wipe is definitely old. People like him play the quest every wipe because they get paid not because they just love doing them
I have brought the quest items 2 times till now from the Labs to the LightKeeper bridge, once without the trasmitor or what ever is the thing in my hand, and the other time with it in my hands, and both time Zeryachy kills me, why is it so? ) i have never killed him or aggroed
Did you recode the dongle? (Customs usb+ intel station) Otherwise you must be banned from the island in which case you should tecieve a reputation regain questline in 24hrs or so
@@sausagefairy6994 it was actually the thing that one of my party memebers didnt had encoded dongle, so me and my m8 who had it encoded died becouz of it..
PLEASE BSG MAKE SP-8 MACHETE A TRADE OR UP THE SPAWN CHANCE. It is literally impossible to find. I've been farming Reshala nonstop and his guards do not spawn with it. If they don't make this item more available, so many people will not get the reward for this quest item despite tryinhg their hardest. Its honestly a load of crap.
This game has a good base but is definitely a job and chore then a game you can just play andlevel up for fun. Quest are so repetitive in my opinion but thats just me. I know people will get offended by what i said. I just play now and then for the gun play amd thats it now
This is true, if you make the mistake of dating someone with a low body count the chances are at some stage in their life they are going to want to experience more and leave. Get someone who has already experienced life

This is so stupid from BSG that they add an item requirement to this task chain, where the machete item is literally impossible to find. I don't like the whole labs part, but at least I get it... you can ask people for help. But the machete is still just stupid
That chinese dude probably works his ass off and gets paid a quarter of what you do. Hes one of the few people that interacted with you positively and he even made you laugh by trying to speak in your language, but you still raise your nose up at him. Thats odd.
pestily needs to realize that half the people in twitch chat dont even play this game, never have and never will so there advice means nothing. you dont need to hold the transponder at light house. if its on you youre good.
