I ordered the black metallic figure since that's my favorite ranger as well. and I honestly wouldn't mind a 5-pack release with updated helmets and maybe swap out the power weapons for something else or even implement the new neck joints seen on newer figures.

I agree with you that the Power Weapons shouldn't have been included since it's not like you see them in Season 3 with the exception of Saba instead they should've went with something else like the Shark Cycles or maybe something specific for each Ranger? Like for example Tommy Metallic coming with 2 separated parts of an Arrowhead that you can unite, Billy coming with the Falconzord remote, what else? Maybe Aisha coming with the necklace that blocked her from Hate Master's magic?

Everyone is forgetting that at first, Tommy split the Zeo crystal into the 5 sub crystals (because he's Tommy) and it was the other 5 rangers that hid them. It wasn't until the rangers were turned into kids when they went to the different time periods to get them so they can become older again. Billy couldn't go back because he was already older. And if think about the crystals with the figures, Aisha wouldn't come with a crystal either because she stayed in Africa and it was Tanya who came back with Zeo 2 crystal. For some reason Rocky went back after the crystal Billy hid and Tommy went for the one Rocky hid instead of vice versa, I guess because Tommy looked better in red than in blue....

I think the metallic white ranger should come with a base to stick the crystals in. That or just the whole completed crystal. I liked these a lot, but my blue ranger had a sloppy paint app on the helmet. It was a bit misaligned so I had to scrape off some of it and apply some silver using a Gundam marker. It doesn't look bad now, but sheesh. They need to work on their QC.

that's what I was thinking, remember the device that they put the Zeo SubCrystals in that Goldar later stole the completed Crystal from? I hope we get that included regardless of whether it comes with a fully united Zeo Crystal or not

the shame of the pink ranger is that she got a revised helmet, but long after the sparkle release, so you 4/5 that are super accurate, the one in the the Kat pack is revised, so you'll have 1/5 of those down, 2/5 if you count yellow, and the cel shaded pink has the old helmet, so if you get the whole team, it'll be the same issue, but it's all part of the hobby

The zeo crystals that they come with are the same ones that each ranger took after Tommy shattered the zeo crystal at the end of the 3 part episode "Masterville and the metallic armor".

the paint apps were dodgy on mine, i thought blue had some schmutz on his visor, i rubbed it off with a cloth and a pea sized chip of paint came off the visor, gonna have to invest in Gundam markers i guess, or get better with coping with the lightning collection

It’s true, but they aren’t THAT skinny. Even setting that aside that’s no excuse for the helmets being too narrow/skinny as well.

I mean, looking at images, they really weren't _that_ skinny from all the shots I've seen. Certainly not to the slim proportions the old FiguArts were; compare images of TyrannoRanger to the old FiguArt. The waist definitely tapers a little, but it's nowhere near as dramatic as the old FiguArt.

@@DosmRider none and I mean none of the figures ever produced under this brand have ever been 100% show accurate. So hammering the figuart over accuracy is weird when none of them are accurate actually. You just have preferences, but them being skinner isn't objectively a negative. I think they are definitely the most show accurate but it depends on the season. There are improvements that can be made since the figures are so old now. I will still stand by them being the closest show accurate figures with flaws intact.

I'm not "hammering" them. Maybe I'm a bit more critical of them because they are the most expensive and imo don't hold up well at all for the price. I also feel people tend to put them on a pedestal because they are sentai/imported. Therefor they must be superior.

The metallic armor yellow is the most disappointing to me. In the show, it was the coolest looking armor IMO and had a gold tint where this seems to be more green.
