Although Like A Dragon: Ishin is dated in some respects, the gripping drama and spirit of Yakuza makes for an enticing historical fiction. Read the full review: www.gamespot.com/reviews/like... #likeadragonishin #gamespot #gaming
Been playing for 8 hrs and just started chapter 4 and honestly I love the “dated” feel to it. It’s part of its charm. The fact that it’s dated and still better than a lot of games from recent years just shows how good the game is and how they used to it around that time. It’s just straight up fun
@@tedt7991 sure it doesn’t compare to the Yakuza world but I like it. I don’t think it’s that different given that it’s more of a graphic remake. I don’t know if they added content, I never played the original. But there is a looot of things to do. I’ve been in chapter 7 for like over 6 hours just doing side stuff
@@Eldergodconsultant thanks, i think i will definitely get this but some months later when the game gets some more updates, it seems they have added content but cities remain the same, more like a remaster than remake
10/10 Must buy for me. Better than 99% of modern games. Problem with many modern western games is they lack a soul and don't get what attracts gamers. Yakuza games immerse the player into a world, and by the end of the game you feel like you played a masterpiece.
So names may be different, but bad guys stay bad guys, good guys stay good guys, and the ones who have gone both ways are the ones to be most worried about.
I hope they re-release Kenzan. I like that one's story and setting more than Ishin's. I would be fine with just an HD remaster and translation, to be honest, to let RGG continue with their newer games undisturbed.
Not a fan of the brawler style Yakuza games. Also not a fan of Kazuya. So this is a wait for a sale for me. But if you’re a die hard fan, I’m happy you have this.
Politically compromised site. Non-objective journalism. They will release a review eventually and just blame the fact that they didn’t get a code. But the delay will still have served it’s purpose as political protest, and they can deny any responsibility.
