Hey just to let you know, those black knobs where you fasten the wheel to the desk are suppose to be pushed down and turned to the right to lock after being screwed in.
I only had to tweak my ffb on 1 game I think it was American Truck Simulator because the ffb was too weak. All my other driving games(and I have them all) seem to be right. Do you adjust your ffb in each game individually?
Guys, I recommend buying a simulator with a brushless motor because the one with brush motors will wear out faster than the brushless one and it lasts longer.
Oscillation like this happens even on high end direct drive wheels, and it's not necessarily bad. Just don't let go of the steering wheel while you're racing, because why would you even let go in the first place? My Moza R9 only oscillates during hard acceleration so it's quite manageable really.
I just got mine yesterday and it was knocking back and forth super hard even at low speeds. I’m starting to get it dialed in and getting the hang of using the wheel
I have G923 and the same Logitech shifter as you. It is very similar to real manual car driving minus the feel of the small shifter, it’s kinda cheap plastic. The wheel is top notch though, although a little to small too.
Ok someone please respond When you turn down force feedback and stuff does it make it easier to turn and go fast some people say they can’t controll when it’s fast
When does a real car wobble left to right. 😂 BTW if you want to fix that, then go to settings, then go down to advanced controls, then when your in advanced controls, go down intill you get to force feedback scale. But it to 0.8% so that you still have force feedback but it's not enough for your wheel to wobble left to right. And make sure you also have your wheel connected.
Just so you know you can adjust that setting. I've been Sim Racing for over twenty years now. I've had over 10 wheels everyone of them from my first wheel the Logitech GT Force all the way to my direct-drive Fanatec GT DD pro wheel all do this if not adjusted. Now I also don't play Forza only because I like sim racing games not arcade games. If you like Forza or that style of gaming I'm not saying anything negative about it! I'm saying that I prefer simulation over the arcade style of racing games. Watch a RU-vid tutorial on how to manage your settings. It's the only way I figured out how to connect my wheel Fanatec GT DD wheel to my Thrustmaster T3PA Pro pedals. They have been heavily modified the brake is a load cell and throttle and clutch are upgraded springs and all 3 have little dampers to also help. Hell my pedals are 10 years old now. I race everyday and the only thing I've ever had to replace/repair were the things that I modified.
go in to setting WITH your wheel not your controller or anything els. Go in to adv setting and you should see more options if that doesn't work you should search it up.
Hello, tell me please, and the g29 steering wheel when it is released on the go will also spin in different directions or not, I just want to buy but I'm not sure what will be like 920 or 923
All logitec g wheels act like this. Its budget equipment. Game settings can help alot with it. You never use 100 percent feedback but ppl do. I hear the thrustmaster t300 doesn't do this but i dont own one.
Have they fixed the wheel support? It was unplayable in the previous one, force feedback doing random stuff, drift while the wheels point inside the turn. It could be a cool game, If it's controller only I still prefer the crew
I never had any issue with horizon 4 or 5 with the thrustmaster tmx wheel. But I must say 5 they optimized it for wheel much better than 4.. but saying that I'm sticking to assetto lol
I've been playing fh5 for nearly a year now with my g920. Once I got my wheel settings adjusted properly I am able to control and feel the car much better. I can maneuver at high speeds or drifting without thinking the car is going to spin out. A lot of people don't know how to set a wheel up.
Well I recommend buying a pc. That’s the expensive part. A Logitech wheel is fairly cheap you can find them on Facebook market place for a good price and usually with the shifter and handbrake. Or you buy the wheel with pedals bundle for around 300 brand new
If anyone reading this before consider to buy a logitech wheel. Please do not! I bought one and the only thing it did, was getting me hooked to sim racing and drift. After 5 Days of daily usage i sent it back and ordered me a Fanatec CSL DD, which are offered at like 399€/$ for a direct drive. I fucking hate those rattleing noises, its so fucking loud and the precision is not that nice. I want to feel the force feedback and not turning it to the lowest to evade this noises. But for beginner its nice, but i want the real deal and not ending up in a few months to get a direct drive wheel anyways :D
It's called oscillation.. That's settings. Also why use a steering wheel when you are flying above a car? Shouldn't you then use a joystick like a pilot? Lol
Si quieres empezar con algo barato y bien equipado el pxn v10 es la competencia del Logitech g29 o puedes escojer el g29 pero sin shifter solo paletas y pedales y volante el pxn está bien equipado
Look up Ctoretto here on RU-vid and click on a video and go to the website in his description. That is a great starter wheel. Or you can always buy Logitech
