People really don’t get the appeal of lil b like it isn’t a meme thing. This dude has a very similar quality to captain Beefheart if you watch his interviews, he was treated the same way and even though he maybe isn’t musically as much of a genius, he is a genius, and he will be remembered as a legend. The man is incredibly unique to himself and unlike every single other rapper and artist, he NEVER dropped pushing positivity. He’s never not pushed it everywhere he’s gone, and how could you not love the fact he follows like 1000000 people on social media and posts a million times a day like this dude is the epitome of smiling in the face of hate and just moving forward. And it is hate by the way, not liking his music is one thing, but this is clearly not that they haven’t even attempted to listen to his music very clearly
Lil B has music where he is having fun and sounding stupid, which tends to be his more popular music. Some of his mixtapes have hidden gems of legit lyricism and social commentary though if you dig deep enough. Check out White Flame Mixtape and Thugged Out Pissed Off. Surrender to Me is a really good soul/funk song.
