This puts me in the mind of Biggie. When you are used to living a certain lifestyle but you evolve you feel like doing anything else other than what you started with would be fake. Durk you have evolved, these kids need to hear that in your music. If you keep rapping about killing how is they showing any growth. You said it yourself, you have to want to grow. A change in your message does not mean you have forgotten where you have come from, it just means you have moved forward.
