Lil Wayne is a 40 year old man thats still in touch with his inner youth. He inspires me to always stay true to myself and keep doing the things i love to do despite the older I get.
@@Sakima205 I don't know how you can say things like this about another human you never even met. You don't know his story, you just know he's successful. It does you no favors to speak things like this about other people with no reason or anything to back it up.
“Never stop never stop learning humble yourself humility goes a long way and it’ll keep you learning and try to get better and better and better!!!” Lil Wayne
The way he talking in such a confident and inspirational way is how he used to talk in 07-08 era. He's always humble but he's getting that edge back where he knows he's the best and I love it
Grew up with Wayne since ‘07 listening to Dedication 2 & Drought 3. Noticing his ups and downs in his career but now I truly appreciate what Wayne has done for the Genre as a whole and how immensely gifted this dude is as a rapper. Always gotta appreciate a rapper like him when he’s alive and not only when he passes away.
I hope they dont ask the same old questions in this interview: “How did u find nicki and drake” / “how old were u when u signed with cashmoney”/ “when did u stop writing your rhymes” / “uncle bob saved ur life?” Bla bla blah
No other rapper can pile on turns of phrase like lil wayne. He can say a line and then recontextualize it with the following line, and he does it dozens of times within one song and makes it look effortless
Lil Wayne had so much influence on hip hop and the whole aesthetic it’s literally undeniable, no one had lil Wayne’s swag, and when he made it cool all the new wave underground rappers came out of no where
And if he hadn’t had the situation with young money/bird man, I honestly think it wouldn’t even be a question because he probably would have never stopped making music.
@@markhatch9893 Em's technicality doesn't make him the goat. Wayne and Juice world are better freestyle rappers, and Nas is a better writer. 1.) Nas 2.) Eminem 3.) Biggie 4.) 2pac 5.) Wayne 6.) Jay Z
"Do not set expectation for me cause I will always exceed them, so just go there with a clear mind and expect the best, and I'll be better than that" Even when answering a question he's dropping a tough line😂😂😂
Really glad they have an interviewer that’s actually familiar with Wayne’s era and the current era and could relate with him in different capacities rather than someone who wouldn’t understand bc of it
I can’t wait till I’m on Wayne’s level as an artist, It’s interviews like these wit Wayne that remind me to keep rappin, keep workin on my craft n don’t quit 💯🙏
In your opinion yeah he is imo he’s boring props to him for staying relevant but the easy to understand bars are the reason so many people rate him highly their brains can’t really process complex bars, why do you think drill is so big same old basic shit in every song talking bout trappin and stabbing or shooting someone
@@Leon-ly3gubut he does have a lot of complex bars and it’s not just impressive because of that. It’s impressive because it’s freestyle, the word play, double entendres, and the way he sets up everything. Not to mention he used drop mixtapes and once he rapped on other people’s beats they might as well have been his songs after he was done. It’s an opinion that’s he’s a goat, but an opinion that a lot of people would agree with. No disrespect just giving my opinion as well bro lol. I know sometimes people argue in the comments, but feel free to respond. I would like to hear your feedback and who your top 5 rappers are.
Bro Wayne is most definitely best of all time rapping his legacy is amazing and is steadily growing fr glad to see Wayne on top fr he the best ever 🥺🥺🥺🙏🙏🙏👏👏😮💨👏😮💨👏😮💨👏💯💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 legendary
I will never forget the first time I’ve heard dedication one & two. I’ve been hooked especially drought one an two. Classics I can go on an on but I say that to say Wayne is the goat. An whoever hating Wayne explains it all on Gossip why he’s the greatest.
Just some constructive criticism bro your bars are mid it’s same shit we’ve heard before from a million other rappers, on the grind, you gon rise to the top, slanging dope if you wanna stand out with music think outside the box you’ve actually got a decent flow just mid bars not hate just my opinion 👊🏾
@@Leon-ly3gu I appreciate you for checking out my music at least. I understand what your saying. I’ll definitely work on it. You definitely have to think outside the box 💯
Man I remember just being a youngin Wayne was my favorite rapper and I’m telling you a lot of pple didn’t listen to him until after that dedication 2 came out after that you couldn’t go nowhere without hearing it! Good times.
Lil wayne is in my top 5 rappers of all time list because he did inspire so many young hip-hop artists who look up to him and follow in lil Wayne's shoes
I remember seeing lil Wayne on the MTV channel in 2008 when Carter lll came out. And what’s crazy about is that I was 4 years old when he blew up and took me so many years to find out who he was. And today he remains one of my top 10 favorite rappers
Man Wayne the definition of a goat 🐐 and I mean that wholeheartedly this man redefined hip hop had it in a stranglehold from 2004 up until 2013 he was inescapable man and he created other superstars Drake, Nicki, Tyga and changed the lives of his lesser known artists this man will always and forever be one of my favorite rappers ever definitely top 5 of all time
His bars always make up for his vocal approach haha sometimes I laugh but than he says some crazy shit in the song and I have no choice but to respect it 😅
I really salute this man. Wayne music has been my therapist sing I was 12 till now am 27. And no stopping looking up to weezy. Much love from Kenya🇰🇪🇰🇪
lil Wayne is the real goat. And his outlook on society is better than some of states seats people hold now. I wouldn’t hate to see him in a small chair in his home state. Hollygrove! Hallelujah! Lol. He’s a real one. And he’s quiet. Those are the real humble ones
After years of following Wayne's music, I've learned to not get hyped for him to drop. It'll drop when it'll drop. His management has always made strange asf decisions with releasing music. It's fucking annoying, feels like he's being back at times.
I just love how Wayne so dam confident in himself as he should be. I listened to him growing up & love all his music. He did set the trend for all theses "lil" rapper that lil in front of their rap name. He is lyrical af & smart af also. He is a goat no cap! Young money!
