I am now sober and re married to a wonderful woman and see my kid a lot. I own my own business as a knife maker, and have an awesome life. People don’t believe me when I tell them I’m in recovery. People like to talk crap about addiction but they don’t understand the power of it. Just like this man here who lost a wife over addiction he like many didn’t want to loose anything but that’s how powerful it is.

he got a scholarship to rehab. That means a full paid rehab at no expense to him. Really doubt this idiot understands how many people actually could use a scholarship to a rehab who actually cannot afford it.
I started doing drugs since my teenage, got addicted to heroin. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Heroin addiction actually destroyed my life. Not until my wife recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 4 years totally clean. Never thought I would be saying this about mushrooms.
Amen God bless people. Save your health save your mind. Life is better without heroin, cocaine, alcohol and cigarettes. And you have more money in your pocket. Can you help me with the reliable source 🙏. I'm 56 and have suffered for years with addiction, anxiety and severe ptsd, I got my panic attacks under control myself years ago and they have come back with a vengeance, I'm constantly trying to take full breaths but can't get the full satisfying breath out, it's absolutely crippling me, i live in Australia. I don't know much about these mushrooms. Really need a reliable source!! Can't wait to get them
100% agree I used to have Psychosis and paranoid thoughts like "people thinking about me talking about me etc. Very odd behavior after getting off Adderall from 7-16. Antidepressants at 18-29. 31 now. I took way to much, but took about 20g of Gold caps (Psilocybin containing mushroom) I analyzed my entire life. The emotions that came out helped me understand behavior etc more. Wont ever need to do it again because I'm happy and contempt forever, but I wish more people did this to alter their perception of reality. Would help with healing much trauma

I’m sooo surprised and also not ,how uneducated even these so-called Celebs who have all this life experience and exposure to so many intelligent and important people in their lives and whom they’ve met are still clueless about what drugs they’re taking and what they are. PERC’s are not blue 30s!! Percocet and Percodan are with acetaminophen like 10/325 or 5/500. Anything with acetaminophen is perc. As soon as you get to 15mg or 30mg blue round pills or green those are now called Roxicodone. Immediate release oxycodone. The 15 and 30mg without acetaminophen are all Roxicets or Roxicodone. Same as when you get to the 10mg of hydrocodone with 325acetominaphen is a ‘Norco’ not a Vicodin. I understand it’s subtle differences but they make a big difference when your friend is OD-ing fish flopping on the floor and you’re trying to give the EMTs the correct info, they can’t do their best job to medically help you or your friend if they’re getting bad feedback and info. It’s really not that hard people to inform yourself. You have such specific nuance info about a hundred other subjects in your life that you can proudly spout off intricate details and data from so you should know what you’re partying with also and put into your body. Takes 2mins to google and look and educate yourself do it right now and prove me wrong or right😉 there’s a challenge for you to educate yourselves and prove this idiot me wrong. Yes I understand that if they’re imposter pills then that may seem like it doesn’t matter what the shape is but it does. It helps emt and friends and others and cops know what to look for in future in that small community or city when dealing with certain pills. I was addicted to heroin and then eventually fent for about a decade. I am 28 years old now. With that said I had times where I went 1 year sober then 2 years sober and I relasped twice both after staying off it for awhile. I had that same thought once I had a little bit of time and said I got this for sure, never relapsing ever again. When you think about it that is such a foolish thing to say, it was for me. Life can be long and you never know what can happen. I am still sober to this day after my relapses. The last couple times I went out I got humbled real quick and was able to learn what I needed to learn and get rid of my ego the best I could which is huge in sobriety. I just take it day by day. I wish Lil Xan the best but hope he learns not to think he has got it in the bag because its a day to day thing for the rest of your life.
If you have any advice on that final leap of faith you took to stop I would be all ears ! Did you go cold turkey or did you do medically assisted detox ?!
As a former addict myself of over 20 years this guy is full of crap! His voice, his eyes, his speech etc all point to him still being on. He has said so much that is out and out BS it's shocking.
I was recently hospitalized for withdrawing off of alcohol cold turkey. I honestly felt like I was going to die and told all my loved ones I loved them. Thankfully, I am sober 6 weeks now! Steve-o has helped me so much! Watching and listening to these podcasts inspire me every time!!
I’m almost 6 years sober, I was addicted to both alcoholic and benzodiazepines. Getting off benzos was absolute hell. When drs prescribe benzodiazepines for anxiety they don’t tell you that when you finally get off of them the anxiety from the withdrawals will be a million times worse than the anxiety you’re experiencing before you’re prescribed the pills. I encourage people with anxiety to try talk therapy, meditation, breathing exercises, yoga etc before turning to benzos. Even some antidepressants help with anxiety. I’m very grateful for every day that I have sober💖
Thank god I never got the deal with benzos , I tried zans a couple times and felt blurry , woke up 3 days later wondering why the calendar jumped 3 days but reality is i was on autopilot and couldn’t remember a thing. Didn’t enjoy it a bit . But anyway keep up the good fight man. A sober life is a good one.
Yep. Iam 50 years old. Began to take diazepam and alprazolam 1994. Took it daily intill april 2021. Of course been clean when done jailtime. So many horror whitdrawels this years. But when quit totally 2.4 years ago it was Hell. To quite benzo is the worse you can do. Rather take heroin or morphine whitdrawels. But alprazolam wow. Hell. And last summer. One year clean. Still so sick. Depression,suicid. Crazy. Belived my brain was damaged for life. Tok one year more. This spring when had 2 year my head began to feel ok. The life began to be ok. So this ride was and are tough. Still i get this craving for take some benz. But nop. Not one pill. It could set my life in fire again. Its so important to eat right. Sleep. The Halt. Hungry,angry, lonley,tired. Can make you relapse. But one day s time. Bless every day to be clean from benzo. The Devil drug nr 1. Yak. Al shit in my life have been beacuse i was to high on benz. Iam still addicted to buprenorfin. I am in a program here in Sweden. Was a heavy heroin user in the 90 to. Here in Sweden benzo have allways been the biggest drug of choice. Belive the stress of its unlegal or the dark climate. We have the highest alcohol use here to in Swede. Sadly many of my friend in the methadone and buprenorfin program take benzo. And i know. Its hard to quit. And methadone and subutex in high doses make you deppresive. So you use benz and alcohol as medicin. I taken alot of lsd and mucrooms both full dose and microdose. I would never be the one iam today whithout those holy fungy. It helped alot to quit the benzoz. Have made me understand more and read the kabyloin the secret teaching of the laws of this reality together whit holy fungy. Yes. Life is beautiful now. Maybe i also quit the buprenorfin also. But have a broken back. Whiplash. From driven motocyckle heavy benzo Dizzy into a refugee and fly 17 meters woke up in the air flying. Remember thinking. Wow this will hurt. Then i landed om my head. Got paralyesd in left side. My face was hanging. Could not walk. But a miracle . I just nop. I will be ok. One year later i was running and my face ok. That happened 2009. Today. Little problem whith the balance. And alot of pain in neck and back. But the opieds help me. But one day i will get totally clean. But this 2 year have been Tough. So one thing a time or who do you say it. Sorry about spelling and grammar. School was not my thing he he he. Much love to everyone out there. Love from cold and soon dark northern Sweden. Bless. I was diagnosed with Anxiety first, tried serotonin and therapy and I was still a wreck. Then I got tested/treated for ADHD and it helped a lot more just knowing what I have. ADHD in women can show up as daydreaming, distraction, and anxiety and we get treated for the wrong disease. If you dont like ADHD meds, magnesium is a great supplement for anxiety as well as exercise and high protein diet.
I realize that they have their medical uses, but I really don't think benzos should be prescribed to your average person unless every other option has been exhausted. My doc put me on them - knowing full well that I had a drinking problem (I didn't know or realize how addictive benzos were, I just thought they were anxiety meds) - and I ended up nearly dying from the interaction. Getting off of them was indeed no picnic, although I still preferred it to alcohol withdrawal. Sober from both now.
Now the cartels are cutting their fentynal with benzodiazapine's for the purpose of making quitting almost impossible without a near death long stay in a hospital, stopping cold turkey put me in the ICU for one month with 1 week in a coma , benzos are nasty and to be avoided at all costs.... 6 months clean and feeling like a million bucks.
It's amazing that someone so young would make a decision to permanently make themselves unemployable and plain stupid looking. Waste of space. And why does he get a scholarship? He's got money to smoke pure percs. Let him pay.

Tbh this is the most coherant I've ever seen Xan in forever. He still has a ways to go, but it's good to see he's putting his all into being sober. He just needs to be more honest with himself and not downplay any of his issues. I'm glad Steve O was able to reach him, call him out when needed without making him feel attacked or embarrassed, which is SUPER important to a recovering addict

I got sober when I was 33, earlier this January. I’ve been sober for 7 months. It’s never too late to get sober. Everyone please be careful. I flatlined on a fentanyl laced oxy. Took 2 narcan shots and an adrenaline shot to bring me back to life. It’s not worth going through that.
I’m 21 I went through that once I hit the back of my head went psychotic for a week:/ I was 19 when it happened never wish on anyone. Things get better with time sober ever sense💯🙏

As an ex nurse that specialized in the end of life process, ( cancer patients ) We used Fentanyl in a small sponge , with a lemon flavor. It was applied via the sides of the mouth for pain relief in final moments. It's not joke.
You think? I mean maybe. I doubt it though. People just assume it won't get to that point for them. I really don't think it would stop anyone. It's already well known that drugs cause withdrawal.
I don’t know. I think most people just don’t think about stopping or what it’s going to really truly be like when they stop. So, I don’t think they give a damn about what the withdrawal effects, as they don’t think they will be experiencing them anytime soon. But it could be good to up discussion about withdrawal not to necessarily prevent the drug use, but to further educate people who will inevitably have to face those symptoms.

I was thinking the same there’s no one that can take 25 xan bars in a day and not OD idc how high ur tolerance is I have a high tolerance to every single drug and I used to go on benders and take like 6 maybe 7 bars in a day and be so far gone and falling out in the bathroom luckily there’s always been Sumone there to help me wake up and still alive but I’m lucky I never died all those times cuz I was also shooting up herion while taking the xans but I don’t see how Sumone can take that many in a day and still be alive I call BS too in that

AA/NA is literally scientologist nonsense . Addiction is a choice. Sure a heroin addict may need a couple days of medical supervision but then it's right back to being a choice. A choice you make in response to life situations, when the situation changes you won't need the drugs. Thousands of US soldiers were using heroin in Vietnam, the government prepared for 100s of 1000s to come home hopelessly addicted, most just stopped on their own , the horrific situation that made heroin seem necessary was over.
@@Atomic1710 methadone won’t do that if he’s on the correct dose. He shouldn’t feel any buzz, voice change, literally nothing. If he’s purposely on a high dose then yeah he’ll get buzzed. He’s always talked this way as far as I remember but I also don’t know if he was high in those interviews I saw years ago so, who knows what his real sober self looks like. Hopefully he gets there and can stay clean this time. I know it’s not easy but he still sounds off to me, like he’s just spewing rehab shit to make it sound like he’s doing great.
Was addicted to Xanax and Percs from 17 to 26. Fell asleep at a stop sign for a half hour with my foot on the break, crashed four cars, ruined every relationship I had. When I got clean the detox kept me up for 3 days and I puked so hard it came out my eyes. Don’t do drugs kids
That strong headed thing stevo says is 💯 percent correct. Once you become overconfident is when you slip. An addicts favorite line is well I can do it this one time and not do it again. Sorry it doesn't work that way.

The withdrawal from 10 Xanax a day cold turkey is a traumatic experience to say the least. Its absolutely horrifying. He doesn’t seem like he knows anything about that. I don’t believe he has experienced Such a withdrawal. It took me a year to even begin to come back mentally after quitting Xanax. Doing an interview in public or even having conversation with someone 40 days after going cold turkey would’ve been impossible for me for several reasons. 40 days sober my ass 🙄 But I wish him the best of luck

@@kellyharris8976 it took me about 9 months of methadone treatment for me to start to feel "normal", with just methadone. Prior to that 9 month mark, i felt like i HAD to stack other opiates on top or else id feel awful. Took me an additional year after that point to begin getting comfortable tapering off. And then from Jan 2022 til June 2022 I managed to taper off completely from methadone. Now im 2+ months free from the clutches of big Pharma. The past few years felt like such a haze, it still boggles my mind how i could allow myself to be completely enslaved like that for years
If yall have ever been sober for an extended amount of time you'll know that Steve O is treating Lil Xan amazing here. He knows that basically everything Xan is doing is taking him down the wrong road and that he likely won't make it but he is able to raise those issues politely without making Xan feel like he isn't on his side. Really a wonderful, sober, human being. I had no idea he'd been to rehab but as soon as i saw him and heard him talk, i immediately knew he was sober. Not sober with 2 blunts a week, but sober and working a program. It's difficult but the rewards are unrivaled.

Being in the rooms for 20 years, you start to get a feel for who is for real, and those that are just chasing their tails. It is very evident that Steve-O is the real deal. His Spirituality radiates with every word he speaks. He is working a program the way it’s meant to be worked and he has prevailed and will continue to prevail. I’m not so sure about this other Cat.

I withdrew from fentanyl and Xanax and wanted to die rather than get clean. I was hospitalized bc the detox unit couldn’t even help me. Having seizures non stop. Was very very rough. So anyone who can come off Xanax or opiates … is a lot stronger than most people give them credit or will ever realize…

At some point you can’t hold up your accomplishments to someone else and say you “should do what I’ve done because I’m right.” It’s a fine line between thinking you’re helping someone, and just liking the sound of your own voice and hearing validation from people you know. That becomes the new drug.
Thinks he knows it all, "ive completely got it this time" without humility he'll end up back on drugs pretty quickly. He's also lacking the fear. It wasn't until I came to terms with the fact that addiction could pull me back at any time and kill me, that I started taking it seriously. Took me until the age of 24, using from the age of 13, to get sober, now I'm 30. This guy has a lot of maturing to do before he can apply the necessary attitude for a sustained period of sobriety. yea i smoked fentanyl back in 2010.. got it from a coworker who had patches for her back. Squirted the gel out onto foil, so glad i didnt inject it. I would be dead, i didnt really believe her that it was going to be that powerful. One hit, (mind you i had a huge tolerance to heroin) off the foil and i passed out, loved it so much, i knew it would develop into a really bad addiction if i had a steady supply
see this is a huge argument i have with some people. I was hooked on opiates, which eventually led to just if i was sick, id take anything that MIGHT make me feel better. Ive been off of the opiates for 4 years, first i did methadone, then when i moved to VA switched to suboxone. BUT i do still smoke cannabis. I dont smoke myself out all day every day, i dont “have” to smoke to do things or go places, but part of the reason i self medicated with the opiates was crippling anxiety. I also have a mental health diagnosis i dont really wanna share on youtube, alllll of this they wanted me on MORE medication for. I wasnt getting sober to then be on a million other medications, got my dispensary card and i work with the budtenders to find things that help with my anxiety depression and other mental health issue’s and it’s been an absolute life saver. My quality of life has improved tenfold, ive held a job down like a responsible adult, and my relationships with my wife, my children, my parents, my siblings etc is absolutely amazing. I completely understand and respect the abstinent approach and i understand why it has to be that way, but for ME and MY life, using medical cannabis to help mitigate alot of the symptoms that led me down that road has been a miracle. Now i do think this kid is trying to bullshit to some extent. Theres a huge difference between recreational use and habitual abuse. He just needs someone like steve in his corner to help educate him
I really hope he gets well. It is hard to see it happening until he stops lying to himself. He does paid promotions where he lies about using products and his fans are young and impressionable. Steve has been sober a long time and Xan couldn't even listen for 5 seconds to Steve's advice before he started talking over him and giving his own opinions. Really do wish him luck ..
I’m sooo surprised and also not ,how uneducated even these so-called Celebs who have all this life experience and exposure to so many intelligent and important people in their lives and whom they’ve met are still clueless about what drugs they’re taking and what they are. PERC’s are not blue 30s!! Percocet and Percodan are with acetaminophen like 10/325 or 5/500. Anything with acetaminophen is perc. As soon as you get to 15mg or 30mg blue round pills or green those are now called Roxicodone. Immediate release oxycodone. The 15 and 30mg without acetaminophen are all Roxicets or Roxicodone. Same as when you get to the 10mg of hydrocodone with 325acetominaphen is a ‘Norco’ not a Vicodin. I understand it’s subtle differences but they make a big difference when your friend is OD-ing fish flopping on the floor and you’re trying to give the EMTs the correct info, they can’t do their best job to medically help you or your friend if they’re getting bad feedback and info. It’s really not that hard people to inform yourself. You have such specific nuance info about a hundred other subjects in your life that you can proudly spout off intricate details and data from so you should know what you’re partying with also and put into your body. Takes 2mins to google and look and educate yourself do it right now and prove me wrong or right😉 there’s a challenge for you to educate yourselves and prove this idiot me wrong. Yes I understand that if they’re imposter pills then that may seem like it doesn’t matter what the shape is but it does. It helps emt and friends and others and cops know what to look for in future in that small community or city when dealing with certain pills. The most common ‘imposter’ pill, not fake because they are a real drug(usually Fentanyl) just not what you intended or wanted…is light blue in color ‘M’ printed with a circle ⭕ around the M, 30mg Roxicodones. Theyre supposed to be 30mg of immediate release, as compared to delayed extended release, oxycodone. But that’s the most frequently imposter faked pill that turns out to be Fentanyl instead. There ya go people, your education for the day.

Substance use counselor here on the upper west coast. Fentanyl is THE primary substance used by more than 80% of the clients here at my treatment agency.
I really like how they frame the questions and respectfully keep him on track, personally I was able to drop pills and only use marijuana for hypersensitivity and I believe it's not dangerous, hopefully he's learned the respect for the herb and how to use it as a tool to get where you want to go but some people can't alter their mind at all without craving something more extreme
So true, there has been many times where I smoked just a little bit of weed and started craving alcohol. Just because the anxiety of the weed made me want to drink. So you gotta be careful if your gonna smoke a Lil bit of weed

I hate how people say "Perc 30". It isn't Percocet, it's a 30 mg Roxicodone. Percocet is a brand name for Oxycodone. Roxicodone is also oxycodone, but Roxicodone is the brand name. It's a fucking 30 mg Roxicodone. That just shows the ignorance of most drug users/addicts. They don't even know what they are taking. I literally researched EVERYTHING i ever put into my body. I used to be a hardcore opiate addict. I was doing lethal doses of morphine. I've been sober for 5 years now and I'm not looking back. For anyone else going through the struggle, I'm here with you and you can do it. I believe in you.
"I know I got it this time" 😂 Ahhhhh oh the many times I have heard that from addicts including myself.Took me 4 times in rehabs and still relapsed.Every trip everyone had it that time.Woke up after a dream I had after taking xanax all day and blacking out.I been clean ever since. Almost 4 years.In that time 12 people I know died from OD or suicide.Dont do drugs kids.

It's always the same anytime you get some older recovering addicts in the room with a newer recovering addict. New kid thinks he's got so much knowledge and strength etc. While the older guys just sit back, try to call out cap here and there while likely thinkin to themselves, heh good luck man (but really wishin them luck, but at the same time they know they aint done yet.) You can just feel it in their tone and the vibe of the room.
Xan is lucky to be alive. Just be thankful he is OK and the pills didn't kill him. I can't tell you how important this discussion is, we're still losing people to pills a doctor prescibed EVERY DAMN YEAR
When I used to get high only one of my eyes would droop and it's how I got caught by my parents when I was younger. 7 years clean now and I don't regret a single choice that I made, I don't recommend it by all means but for me throwing myself into the deepest pit I could find and climbing my way out really helped me in my life today. I was coddled as a child and when I turned 18 and had to get out on my own I had no idea wtf I was doing and what being an adult was about.
That's facts about hospice. My Dad (rip) he was in hospice for about 1 year and man they gave him morphine,hydrocodone, Xanax, methadone. Just to make sure he was pain free and live his last day comfortable.
Not just Xanax, but benzodiazapine withdrawal in general can be fatal. Quitting heroin cold turkey was much less horrific than quitting my prescribed clonazepam in the same manner. The latter actually permanently worsened my PTSD.
Fentanyl is still only primarily in patches (aside from a very few sprays or oral suckers for specific cancer types), the stuff called fentanyl on the streets are analogues of fentanyl that are produced in foreign labs in bulk and imported as powder, they have absolutely nothing to do with US pharmaceutical drugs. Also, much of the reason many opioid addicts switch to fentanyl analogues is because A. They are able to actually get high again (For a short time), as long heroin use has amped up their tolerance so high that they were simply chasing withdrawal away, not getting high, and B. Because it is cheaper per high than heroin
I was addicted to fentanyl because they were fake pills and it was more expensive to me than heroin because the high only last like an hour so it was a 20$ every hour habit lol
We get free test kits for our drugs here and it usually comes up as fentanyl, I've had the lollipops and patches as well. I know a lot of opiate dependant people and I don't know any that prefer fentanyl to Heroin or even oxy. its just all they can find anymore. And its doesn't save them money really because its the same price on the street here as heroin, also, it doesn't last as Long as H, therefore they are doing it more often to stay "well"... its not as euphoric as other opiates either so they might be doing more to reach a high they aren't capable of getting if you have a strong tolerance. The only thing is if you're sick it will take less to get you "well" than other opiates because its "stronger" in a sense, but for me, once I'm well there is no point in doing more because its like a ceiling effect, now if I mixed other strong opiates on top of fett, then yeah I might be able to feel something. But yeah that's the experience here anyway.. Ive also never known of people smoking it, I mean folks have tried, but its just like wtf.?. Anyway I'm sure there's different kinds of shit going around different areas. Ive od'd once but that was on CARfentanyl, which is much stronger. In 48 hrs 176 people overdosed in my little neighborhood alone , in that one weekend in August 2016, a big batch of CARfentanyl hit the block, it was wild, the city had to call in help from surrounding districts in the city and even other townships and smaller cities etc. It was wild. Opiate WD sucks, which is the only reason I'm still on them. Four years ago I tried quitting and didn't sleep for 17 days. I became severely dehydrated and had hypertension level four and had two minor seizures ( which a lot of people say can't happen with opiate WD, but it def did.) I felt like I was going crazy from lack of sleep so I gave in.
@@ayten3617 Carfentanil is just one of the analogues I mention, they are all analogues though, all varying strengths (there are probably over 100 analogues, some of them are carfentanil, sufentanil,dimethylfentanyl, difluorofentanyl,alfentanyl, acetylfentanyl, isofentanyl, etc,etc,etc. . All of them will test positive for fentanyl on the drug tests because they are not able to differentiate the metabolites from each other because they are too similar. (Much like how delta 8 thc is an analogue of delta 9 and you will test positive for d9 if you use d8.)
