When the government said "just give us 2 weeks to flatten the curve" and we did...I felt a shift in my heart and knew our lives would never be the same...and here we are...

Arrive can must be banned, it causes the most trouble. Also, as someone who was supposed to work in aviation since 2020: I will not go back in this industry until mandates are cancelled forever: they are not getting their staff back if they can just re-fire us at any instant.

The biggest problem in Canada is that we're dealing with a Liberal government.

You're not supposed to travel. Hasn't anyone read the WEF policies? You're not supposed to own anything and you're not supposed to have unauthorized transit. The only people who are supposed to go to foreign countries are government personnel on government business, or some other approved group (e.g. sports teams). Now, that's long-term, so they have to start you off by making it so difficult you will _willingly_ forgo travel. After another three or four years of this, you won't even consider leaving. It's a matter of keeping you isolated and, therefore, easier to manage. Don't believe me? Think I'm a conspiracy theorist? Okay, go check it out. And remember, Klaus Schaub has called Justin Trudeau his best pupil and that the WEF has penetrated (his word) more than half the Cabinet of the Government of Canada.

Anyone else starting to think that all this might be intentional to ensure no one can leave Canada?

Mendicino is remarkably underwhelming as a politician and a man.

My wife flew through Pearson domestically a few weeks back. She sent me a text---one word INSANITY. Pearson IMO has always been a screwed up place to fly from/through. I believe ArriveCan has made international arrivals much more difficult especially at airports. I have used it at land border and it was very confusing-----the current app at that time was not updated. Many travelers from wherever their arrival are not aware of the requirement. Many also do not have a device/phone to use it. It should be scrapped but I believe it is being continued as a means of punishment/control. The current "non leaders" of Canada want the people of Canada to all be good "little sheep" and not capable of making our own decisions. The good part is more and more folks ARE waking up to utter incompetence of the current federal government.

My wife and I planned a vacation to the Atlantic provinces this summer. Leaving, in our car, later this week. So glad we decided not to fly, but to do a road trip instead!

You do not have to be a process engineer to simply go into an airport and see where all the bottlenecks are occurring. They are occurring when people are lining up for government permits and approvals and inspections. Get rid of the app, get all the government agents back to work, and drop all the mandates. In 2014 we flew to Kathmandu in the middle of climbing season, the KTM airport was packed with tourists, climbers and support teams with all the climbing gears and yet we got out of there in less than one hour. They're supposed to be the third world country...

I sat in front of terminal 1 departures for r almost an hour while another family member helped our passenger check in for a flight to Halifax. Some people were parked longer and even left their vehicles locked and unattended while they went in the terminal. Normally this would never happen as the airport security would be there telling you to move in within five minutes to keep traffic moving. Any unattended vehicles would be towed. But not this time. I sat there for most of an hour with my vehicle as our passenger checked in. Others left vehicles parked in front of the terminal while they went inside. One vehicle belonged to a basketball team and they were there for over an hour. Yet no one came out to tag, tow or earn us to move on. There is as much chaos outside as there is inside it seems. The airport is broken.

Turdeau is an absolute disaster.

wtf is going on. why cant people stop pushing blame and just getting the job done. i dont care whom is at fault at the moment, but I want a clearing up and fixing. then we can hold those accountable later.

Fixing the travel and passport problems require actual work with no photo op or available stage from which to preach condescending empty platitudes so don't expect anyone from the LIEberal "government" to actually fix anything.

Handed in my passport and renewal application and paid for my new 10 year passport at Service Canada on April 12. Haven’t heard a thing since. Online appointment booking will only let me book another appointment in SEPTEMBER. Phone calls go to a recording and I can’t get through .

Government knew this would happen with the mandatory vaccination. All the news agencies say they don't know why the low number of pilots in the country.

A friend had their flight reassigned from Hamilton to Toronto. She said it was the worst airport in the world and the washrooms were filthy disgusting. She would never consider booking a flight from Pearson international airport.

Junior needs to retire. Go to some beach and surf and live off your grandfather’s trust fund. Let responsible people run the government.
