Inherited my LJ from my late Dad who had it given as a kid [back in the 40/50s] Very powerful gun and like you say very accurate. I remember shooting old glass bottles as a kid and shot an old thick brown Bulmers cider bottle and was disappointed it didn't smash when I hit it. When I checked it had gone straight through both sides of the bottle without smashing
Tis a beaut'. I have an improved model d its a cracking gun still shoots lovely. Built to a standard not to a price. If only they could talk, what tales they would tell.
Yup its the history of these things that i find fascinating and how incredibly well made they are ,imagine how many pellets this has shot over the decades its been around
