Lyrics: Unsheathe your swords Here they come Black army's shade Shakes the ground As one we'll fight And we'll die And we'll reborn We are the light Ashes and dust They'll become They shall not pass All as one Heavy price Screaming skies Crying rain All in vain Clouds of darkness, storms of fire Mixed in the frantic spire We behold the end of Arda At this Dagor Bragollach Last white rider in the shadows Shade has taken all my brothers Let me spill my blood and tears At this Dagor Bragollach
Dagor Bragollach - The Battle of the Sudden Flame With rushing balrogs and the Thangorodrim bursting into flame, Ard Galen became the Anfauglith, and amidst the flames Glaurung, First of the Urólokí, now in his full power and armor burned the lands of Beleriand.
Then suddenly Morgoth sent forth great rivers of flame that ran down swifter than Balrogs from Thangorodrim, and poured over the plain; and the Mountains of Iron belched forth fires of many poisonous hues, and the fume of them stank upon the air, and was deadly... Many charred bones had there their roofless grave; for many of the Noldor perished in that burning, who were caught by the running flame and could not fly to the hills... Thus began the fourth of the great battles, Dagor Bragollach, the Battle of the Sudden Flame. In the front of that fire came Galurung the golden, father of dragons, in his full might; and in his train were Balrogs, and behind them came the black armies of Orcs in multitudes such as the Noldor had never before seen or imagined. And they broke the leaguer about Angband, and slew wherever they found them the Noldor and their allies, Grey-elves and Men.
I love Lind Erebros but it seems his website is now defunct. How does one contact this man? I want to ask him if he is willing to license his music and things like that.
I don't believe that THAT pansy Daeron is a mightier singer than Maglor. Hell, I may be biased but Maglor went through and did a lot of shit. He had a lot of material and pent-up feelings. From the kinslayings at Alqualonde, The burning in Losgar, The battle under stars, his thirty years as regent, holding Maglor's gap, The Dagor Bragollach, The Nirnaeth, The second and third kinslayings, the war of wrath and the breaking of Beleriand.
