I love that she rocked it up. Rehearsals and performing it for the show have undoubtedly trained a lot of the rock out of it for her, which is a bummer, because this was an awesome performance. I get why they do it (big long-run shows are risk averse, they make their money on tourists coming to hear someone sing it basically like Idina did), but sometimes I wish there was a little more license to treat new casts like revivals instead of trying to keep it continuous.

lekoman Each of the replacements for this show have much more creative freedom than a lot of other shows out there. Plus they also have to stay true to the character. Not every character will mix correctly with a riff.

She has a really unique voice. Quite different from some other Elphies. It has a lower tone which i like. I think she will be able to characterize Elphaba's quirks quite nicely. Congrats to her for landing such an iconic role. I think she will do us die hard Wicked fans and the role justice.

When I first heard she was going to play Elphaba, I wasn't that happy to hear but after listening to this. I am really excited, it almost sounded as if she disappeared into the role for a second during the song. I am sure her and Katie Rose will make a great pair.

Saw her on sunday. She has an amazing energy on stage. Before the show I thought she didn't really look the part but I must admit: She absolutely nailed it. She has this wicked, dorky vibe that fits Elphaba so well... .

I like Willemijn voice better. But someone has to take over. Though I´m very sad that Willemijn will not stay longer. I probably would feel better if I knew what Willemijn next project will be, but until know she didn´t said. I wonder how Lindsay feels taking over from Willemijn, who most people think is the best Elphie.
