Hi Glen, thanks for your videos, they help a lot. I've had my helix about 3 days now and love it, do you have any Jeff Beck patches ? Ive tried scouring the Internet for what he uses , but figuring out the helix equivalent is a little challenging for me. Thanks again . Sean
Hi Glenn, thanks for the reply. would use variations in each song, its just that I was thinking about very basic. I guess I dreamt about it over night and realized that the snap shot idea was more for the variations in a tune and not just the tune itself. So having said that I will try to figure out how to build a preset and name it for each song in our set then create the snapshots for the verse/chorus variations. any input on that would be helpful. Also I will be purchasing some of your tone presets! Thanks and Blessings to you.
Glenn, I have purchased several of your patches, top notch job! I am ashamed to ask this, but the song you are playing at around the 7:16 mark, with the Bassman Blackface, I know that I know this tune, but I can't place it for the life of me. Which means one of two things, it's similar to something I already know, but not 100%, or I have not heard the particular song in quite a while. What song is it? Thanks for all you do man, I have tremendous issues making my own patches that sound worth a crap, and it takes me so long to come up with one, but yours are excellent, and save me so much time! Thanks again!
Thanks Glenn!!! Got 'em all but I'm running out of space for IR's. L6 needs to give us a way of ti store more IR's with each user heading. Have any suggestions on that issue?
Hi Glenn - Sorry again for my bad english - Today I've ordered my Helix in a store... I think when I hold it in my hands I will buy these Patches. Can I edit these Patches for example - can I add a Delay or maybe a Boost - or are all Slots filled? Greets from Germany
Greetings from South Korea, sir! Great video n great tone... I pay respect to your continuous effort... Sir, I have a question. Im so looking forward to buy those patches, do I can pay for it by paypal? I think that it will be the only way to pay.. Because im in Korea...
Hello Glenn - I'm considering buying your amp simulation patches, however I'm not sure if they are designed the way I will use them in a live situation. I play in a church environment where the sound guy hands me an XLR cable straight to a console. Will they sound as they should?
Hi Glenn, I just got my Helix. I have been playing amps for most of my time with guitars, however I play in church and the live amp is becoming a thing of the past in our situation.so the Helix seemed to be the best bang for the buck for me.I have a question though. can you please direct me to the very basic entry level videos or ? that will help this old dawg be able to get my feet wet with building, naming presets and snapshots.I want to be able to have a snapshot for each song for each week.in other words, we have 4 to 5 songs a week, so the week would be a preset with 4 or 5 snapshots in it.? wow I hope that I don't sound to slow! Thanks for your help.Jim
I totally understand. The Helix sounds very good direct to FOH!! What I do is send the L&R XLR outs from Helix into the FOH and then I split the 1/4in. outs of Helix into an onstage FRFR speaker so i have some stage sound. I play with a really loud drummer and a bass player that uses an Ampeg 8x12 SVT rig do I need some sound coming from stage to compete with that. I use the the Line 6 Firehawk 1500 watt for my FRFR stage solution. It's super loud when we play really big arena style venue's and I need that volume coming from the stage.
