I just picked up the Pod Go for my bass playing. Your tutorial just opened up many possibilities for me to better control my sound. Thank you!

How do you connect another volume peddle to Podgo ? An external volume peddle ?
@PaoloC.
@PaoloC. 3 года назад
really interesting, thanks for that. one small suggestion: set your pod go camera to fixed manual focus: you can see that when you're hovering your hand it's hunting for focus and it's quite annoying.

there are no trails between the patches, it is only 4 editable blocks, very limited, I hope you improve this in the next update.

This video is so good- exactly what I needed to watch, to learn about bypass control and the additional expression pedal. Great stuff

Hiya there, Robert from Seattle... Been a PodGo user for 1 year now... love it... I have a question for you: I use the expression pedal to control delay mix, wha and volume blocks deactivated ( I have a separate wha and volume pedals on the board)... been having major squelching sounds from my wha, yes connected to a wall wart on the board, yes the factory one)... I want to use a remote switch to activate the wha, without changing my delay mix... can I assign a 7/8 switch to leave my delay mix alone, when the wha is activated? Can I remote switch between the red/green indicators, showing which block (wha or vol) is activated... I tried with non latching roland switches, but all I got was a momentary switch between the assignments... can it be latching??? Even when I used my latching roland switch, the assignment of the expression pedal remained momentary... what I want is remote assignment of that toe switch... Thanks for the info... the pod was practically the best piece of gear I've gotten in years. Peace.

Would it be possible to accomplish an Exp 3 with an external to manipulate drive or other parameters, while keeping exp 1 as volume and exp 2 as wah(?) I bought an external line 6 expression pedal to try to accomplish this.

I have an Electro-Harmonix Lester G pedal that permits an outboard expression pedal to move through the entire speed range of a Leslie 122. The way it works is the pedal with heel down runs at the slow speed, with the toe down runs at the fast speed, and anywhere in-between is controlled by the position of the expression pedal. With POD GO the expression pedal only allows me to switch between slow and fast, with no control between the two speeds. This defeats the purpose of an expression pedal for this purpose, as it could be accomplished with a simple foot switch, internal or external. Any chance that the functionality I'm looking for is actually available? If not, it seems like a feature that would not be difficult for Line 6 to develop, and hopefully it will be included in a future firmware release.

Say I wanted to use my own Crybaby wah. Usually I would run this before everything else on my amp. With the pod go I’m using the wireless g10. How would you hook it up. Through the effects loop?
@DocBrownGuitar

Best bet is probably using the effects loop. I assume you are using Pod Go Wireless, and not a separate if Pod Go and G10 unit. If separate units, just put the crybaby after the G10.

Can the expression be used as an octave/whammy?

I would like to use one of the external footswitches 7/8 as a general Volume-Boost or Solo-Master. What do you guys think is the best way to do this, i.e. which parameter to assign it to? Channel Volume, Output of the EQ-Section (if positioned post-Gain) or the system-wide general Output at the very end? Where (and why there) would you do it?

Eq.... last in the chain... I set a 3 db boost with the stereo parametric mod... footswitchable with fs 7/8

Hi Doc, I watched the video, it was very good but it didn't seem to cover the use I am looking for. I want to use the onboard exp pedal just like normal; volume and wah with toe switch on every patch as it comes out of the box. I also want to connect an external exp pedal to control only delay and verb parameters. Is that possible, and if so how can I set it up for that? Right now when I connect the ext exp pedal it seems to make it a volume pedal and the onboard exp pedal quits working or only for the wah. thanks....dan

@DocBrownGuitar 3 года назад
Hi Dan, with POD Go you won't be able to have volume, wah, and delay/reverb each with a dedicated expression pedal. The built in expression lets you swap between EXP 1 and EXP 2, but when you hook up an external expression pedal the built in expression pedal becomes EXP 1 and the external pedal becomes EXP 2. So you have a max of 2 expression pedals when using POD Go. Hope this helps, cheers!

Hope that in future firmware upgrade the external expression pedal could be assigned as exp3
