Hi Phil, No I haven’t done that mate. Sounds interesting though. Do you mind if I ask what it cost to get that done? Does it help with acceleration by any chance? Have been thinking about putting a turbo on it.

@@fyd_adventure3049 hey mate, the second hand gearbox I got from a wrecker cost $3500, I installed it myself wasn't a hard job. It is a little faster through the gears as there slightly further apart. 6th in your gearbox is the same as 5th in the newer gearbox, so it basically gives you another gear. Which you can use if the conditions allow, I.e no big hills or big head wind. Only real way to increase acceleration is a turbo, Turbo glide in nsw can fit an after market turbo for you and dyno giving you 30% extra torque and 20 more hp.

@@Phil-te5mn We got our Tyres done at Darra Tyres. It was about $7000 for 5 rims/tyres including the spare. I don't recommend getting the balance beads though. It's a nightmare when airing down & back up.
