Pasquale is the best Italian chef on you tube & i give a thumbs up before the video starts, i can always change my vote, but never have & i say this on every one of his videos. I'm glad he used linguine & not fettucine or spaghetti, texture is perfect, i really like calamari.

My dad cooks this recipe with his mom the week before our Christmas eve huge family party. Not so much this year because of covid. He cooks the squid calamari in oil on high .. Pats them. Etc and put in a huge pot of my grams sauce. Pasquale. My gram wrote the recipe down, but I really love that you do this and post real Italian cooking with so much pride. Wow we are all so lucky to have you entertain us! Youre brilliant. I bet the aroma is outstanding. Lol my dad cooks in seperate George Foreman type grill because my gram would have a fit hahaha . calamari nice and cooked. Delicioso! With broccoli w/ anchovies , spaghetti and sausage. And lots of garlic bread... For desert and a snack we have struffoli. But for some reason, in my great grams recipe book, struffoli was labelled " tarrone" but I looked it up and its a totally different recipe. So we have been calling struffoli, "tarrone" alllllll through the years... Before we had internet. Thanks pasquale

This is the first of your videos I've seen and I'll watch many more. I love to find pasta seafood recipes since where I live it's getting more and more expensive to find it in a restaurant, IF you can even find it at all. Good Italian and seafood is difficult around here.
