Awesome video! Very informative! I am familiar with voile as I've used it in a few of my first projects. Now I'm trying to up my game and make formal wear so I bought 5 yards of china silk today. I may just handwash it for the prewash and then do the same for my finished garments. They are a box-pleated maxi skirt for myself and a dress for my daughter, 6. They won't be requiring too much washing anyway so drycleaning is not an issue for me. We have drycleaners in the neighbourhood too.
Hello there! I would like to order on line a waterproof material used for lining cosmetic bags but I don’t know what is the name of that kind of lining so I don’t know what to search for. I would appreciate it if you could kindly inform me what to search for and where best to order it from. Thank you.
Hi, This is a fairly strong material, however the higher the denier number (what the D stands for), the stronger the fabric. This being said, if you can find one that is 400D or 600D, it would be much stronger. Cheers, Ashley

I did always wonder why satin dresses don't have satin linings...I mean, I'd say the majority of women I've talked to have said that they enjoyed wearing it about 50/50 for the look and the feel.
