Linkin Park was a trail-blazing band with their impeccable blend of metal and hip-hop, and their rapper Mike Shinoda tells us what it's like being in one of the world's biggest bands. #LinkinPark #MikeShinoda #ChesterBennington
It's not just a rock band, its a mix of multiple genre : Nu Metal, Alternative Metal, Rap Metal, Alternative Rock, Electronic Rock, HipHop , and many more
Sometimes a generation gets something special that they love their whole life. For my generation it was Linkin Park. We have grown out of the angst but the passion they showed us lives on.
Probably the best rock band of the 21st century. They deserved more world praise for how great they were. They were special for the range they had. No one else had that power.
Not probobly, they had best singer in past 23 years and nobody will be better than him in million years(i talk about singers only after their first album) top 5 voices of all time for sure.
I am so glad they addressed that subject , it's easy to say all these songs relate to what happened to chester , but they were written by the whole band . I think we're just looking for answers.
@@christiandauz3742 Funny enough, I'm actually a huge avid Scream fan, been so for almost my whole life. I was so excited to hear that he was making a song/helping Demi Lovato produce a song for the film
you can see Mike's expressions becoming solemn at 3:08 when the host mentions Chester, and relating Lost's lyrics to it - goes to show Chester's loss really never goes away

The point of view that Mike has about the creative process is very particular, it gives me the impression that he is not a person who sees writing as a matter of luck, but as a matter of discipline. It reminds me of what Ray Bradbury used to say when he wrote stories.
Mike is such an amazing creator, writer and producer. We all loved Chester is voice is incredible, but sometimes we forget that most of the music and lyrical magic was from Mike. He was able to write music that Chester identified with which make the performances so magical.
Linkin park has gotten me through some rough times in my life and still has and will always be my number 1 go to whenever I’m feeling sad angry and happy!!! Come to San Diego please
I think Lost made literally everyone cry and feel that pain of loss again. Maybe Mike got used to lyrics like these throughout his whole career in LP but honestly I felt like he didn't want to answer that question about lyrics of Lost. Heh...
Linkin Park a definition of dedication, work, love, passion and many more, they are like family so that's the key to their success, only metal elitist and internet haters hate them but that's not important, some people are born to be Stars like Kurt Kobain,Chester,Chris Cornell and many more, their music will be in this world forever.
If Lost was made during Meteora that means there is probably a version that is just the intstruments without the techno stuff yall know what I mean? Would be interesting to hear!!!
Thanks Mike……You heard the man….Eyes Up Everyone! Show up not matter what, like PAC said Never take your eyes off the prize and even if you gettin' high Don't ever hesitate to try 'Cause you can fall off or stay ballin'
*2:57** Why not Release that Hard drive in RU-vid? i know 2003 youtube was not exist. but after linkin park channel created from youtube in 2005 or 2006. that would be perfect to release to unrelease songs in youtube.*
Drummers, bassists and guitar players are a dime a dozen. Those guys in the band are so unbelievably lucky they crossed paths with Mike and Chester. Mike, for his God awesome songwriting ability and Chester who was a shockingly great vocalist. As great as Mike is, Linkin Park wouldn't have been anywhere near as good without Chester. He's almost as lucky as the other bandmates finding Mike, as Mike is lucky to have found Chester. Im still angry that Chester put that unbelievable heavy weight of lifelong grief he put on his children and the weight his wife has to carry for them the rest of her life. What a selfish, selfish act of narcissism.
You have a right to be angry about it and think it’s inconsiderate. Narcissism doesn’t encapsulate the entire picture, but you are indeed entitled to your perspective.
Thats a joke, isn't it? With all respect to Linkin Park - they are far from being the biggest Band. Linkin Park is not the biggest Band from any point of view - sales figures, tour-audience, whatever you take - there are bigger bands.
