Many customers have asked if it is okay to have the cable kinked or folded to 180 degrees. Will the performance drop? Will there be any issues? Any BSOD or WHEA errors?
The answer is NO to all of the above.
The video shows a test of a 30cm LINKUP Ultra PCIE 4.0 riser cable folded to 180 degrees three times. We then run the 3DMark PCIE Feature test to show you the result.
As you can see from the results there are no issues at all. The benchmark score shows no drops.

Got a 20CM one for my NR200P SFF build. I just ordered a 10CM one for another build. These are indeed nicely foldable. Compared to the Phantek or the CoolerMaster one, these are a lot more usable.

Yes. RX5500XT uses only 8x PCIE lanes. To get the full speed, you will need a gen 4 riser.

Will this cable work with a PCIE 3.0 GPU? Since all Nvidia GPU's are currently 3.0, I want to use this riser cable with my x570 motherboard and my Nvidia 2080ti GPU.

Yes. The PCIE 4.0 riser is backward compatible with PCIE 3.0

You can fold it as many times and as any degree you wanted. Torture it the way you wanted. If you ever destroy it, we will send you a replacment.

Red is to indicate which pcie version the cable is. Similar how USB 2.0 is usually black and USB 3 is usually blue

Sorry for this. It's a survey we did that Red has the most votes. We also force our clients to use "White" instead of Red in their famous cases. You will see that in 2021.
