(The Comparison of With and Without The Use of Riser Cable on RX6800 GPU)
This is the first video (revisions will follow) to show that LINKUP Ultra 4.0 riser cables work perfectly with nVidia new RTX 3000 series ( tested here is MSI Ventus 3x RTX 3080 OC version). There are two cables were tested:
1. Single Reversed Socket version 25cm for Sliger SM580 case (PCIE4EXT11SV-025)
2. Straight version for Thermaltake P5 case (PCIE4EXT11SS-050-v3)
(We also tested left angle version on NZXT H1. We will post the video later)
nVidia RTX 3000 GPUs perform very stable with our setups, even the 50cm passes all benchmarks. Compared to the Radeon RX 5000 series, nVidia RTX 3000 series GPUs have no heat issue when using a sandwich design Mini-ITX case.
Here are the summary of our versions.
1. Straight version (10 cm up to 50cm) for Thermaltakes, Lian Li, & many others.
2. Right angle version (10cm up to 50cm) for Fractel Design, Coolermaster, EVGA, Phanteks, and many others
3. Left angle version (25cm and 30cm) for NZXT H1, Sliger & Phanteks evolve shift air.
4. Reversed socket version ( 25cm and 30cm) for DAN A4, Loque Ghost S1, Sliger (remove mounting bracket), Nouvolo Steck, and many others.
We will keep uploading videos to showcase different cases.

I can confirm this riser cable works with PCI-e 4.0. I tried and benchmarked hard with my RTX 3090 EVGA FTW3 Ultra red lip GPU. I ran TimeSpy Extreme (3DMark) benchmark at 4K for over 10 hours on a loop, and the computer still benchmarking, without any crashes/BSoD. Also tried to run this riser cable with PCI-e 3.0 set in the BIOS, aside from the dropped bandwidth (confirmed in 3DMark PCI-e benchmark), everything is rock solid stable. Finally, I ran a 4x PCI-e 4.0 NVMe SSD add in card in RAID on this riser cable, and the performance is the same +/- 5% or so in ATTO and Crystal Disk Mark. I have to say, this LinkUp PCI-e 4.0 Ultra cable is worth it, and even the price is reasonable. The other compatible PCI-e Gen 4.0 riser cable is the one from 3M, and currently being sold on DigiKey for almost $80 USD if you buy one piece, so the bill of materials on the riser alone is at least 50-60 dollars. From this perspective, LinkUp’s PCIe 4.0 Ultra riser probably isn’t marked up as high as most of us might think, and I believe their margins on these risers isn’t that high. PCI-e 4.0 cable require higher signal integrity to work, and thus the higher prices.. I’d expect well known branded PCIe 4.0 riser cables from Phanteks, ThermalTake, Lian Li, CoolerMaster etc to cost even more than the LinkUp version when they do eventually release. I’ve heard issues of this riser with AMD GPUs, but I cannot test it as I don’t own any AMD GPUs. At least with NVIDIA RTX 30 series, from my sample size of 1, I can say it works pretty much out of the box.

Are you guys able to setup an european amazon store as well? Or anything in europe distribution would help, as it's quite hard on our wallets for us to purchase directly off USA, due to the massive shipping fees + customs. For example, the 10cm version of your riser cable gets 50% more expensive just because of the shipping, and on top of that we in Portugal will pay around 23% overall for customs tax. This is something totalling around the $100, which, for the product in question, makes it quite unfeasable. I'm interested in purchasing one to be able to run PCI Gen4 on my FTZ-01 case, as riser that comes with the case is outdate (Gen3) , but with the amount of shipping fees and tax, it's not viable. Absolutely now. Every insertion causes loss in signal. We will have 40cm version in Feb 2021. It won't be the flexible Ultra version, it will be called Extreme4+ which will go up to 60cm.

@@ILLRobinson The reversed socket on the gold fingers (male plug) save extra 3~5cm on cable length. the 23cm is measured at 23.5 in wires. In addition, the shift 2 has adjustable screws for the GPU position. Most important at all is 23.5cm provide larger headroom in insertion loss. This is especially helpful if your motherboard and GPU do not have enough tolerance for the use of a riser cable. We have seen many systems that can't even run Gen 4 with GPU directly connects to the motherboard.

For Asus motherboards which are not made as good as other brands in Gen 4 PCB layout. We would recommend the 25cm Right Angle version. For other brands of motherboards, length is not limited to 25cm.

Can you be more specific about the connection issue? Many users used rubbing alcohol to wipe the gold finger (male contacts) on both GPU and riser cable. You can try this way too.

Can the single reverse angle Riser cables easily bend out to 90 degrees. If they do, it could save me some room in my case, if not I could easily use a 180 degree straight cable. A 90 degree with vertical mounting points would be ideal, but I have not seen that that exist. Just hoping that I can avoid the riser rubbing on my PSU cover.

Our Right Angle version has 125mm (longest) screw holes distance. Phanteks vertical mount has two screw holes over 130mm apart. It won't fit perfectly, but it is still mountable. What length of cable do you have? Your first step will be clean the golf-fingers on the GPU and the riser cable using rubbing alcohol. Please setup BIOS to "Auto" to see if the error goes away.

Looks like 20cm Right Angle version should work for you. 99% of the customer found loss-less with our riser cable. The only problem you may have is the motherboard tolerance. Some motherboards were not made good enough to use riser cables. That's when you will see the performance drops. Instead of changing the riser cable, changing the motherboard will get the problem resolved.

There are solutions for your SV590. If you can remove the bracket on the SV590, you can use Singe Reversed socket 25cm (recommended), or Double reversed Socket 20cm. There are two versions that you can choose for Evolve Shift 2 case. 1. 28cm Left angle if your GPU's fan is facing outward (normal position). 2. 15cm Left angle if your GPU's fan is facing inward (opposite position). Personally, I would prefer this way as the heat built up in the riser area (sandwich style) is lower. The shorter riser cable has better performance especially if you are using the worst ITX motherboard brand, Asus. We have the highest reported issues from users using Asus motherboard. If you have a choice, please use other brand motherboard.

@@LINKUPTechnologies yea lol I got MSI x570 tomahawk and 6900 XT Reference card, unfortunately the 20cm was too long for my 4000d mid case so I need to buy another 50 dollar cable thats 15cm right angle.

It works perfectly for your setup. The 20cm Right Angle version should best fits your Corsair 4000d case.

@@LINKUPTechnologies no it doesn't 20cm is too long for 4000d case you have to fold it and squish it to fit properly. I got 15cm one and it fits just right, the only problem was to find the cable, its out of stock everywhere except from amazon and I don't shop at amazon for personal reasons
