I have them as my front 3, bought used. These are one of the most faithful speakers you can get. that tweeter was used , same on in their Isobarik speakers costing $9000 in 1994. They do eat watts for lunch and dinner, so feed them plenty of power. Use a sub and you can fill a large room with plenty of good sound. Enjoy
@@slaving300 only Totem Mite, the Mite was more balanced, and amazing big sound for the Little size, but the Linn Tukan has Ceramic tweeters, very details and clear for the treble. Very unique sound. The Tukan can sound a Little Bright for some listeners, but with a good sub it Will be complete.
@@slaving300 if I were you I would save some money and get a pair of Totem Towers... Most of Them a pretty slim anyway. You would get Much more for your money than the Totem bookshelfs (except maybe their high end Lines which cost several thousands of $$$$).
@@slaving300 i,ve Heard the Rainmakers at a Friend,s place. The Totem try to go Deeper so when you listen to a longer period, or in a bigger Room, you Will notice that the bass of the Rainmakers can sound a Little bloated or articial. On the other Hand, the Tukan does pretend That, they don,t go lower than 70 Hz which is very honnest. That Makes Them more balanced and more enjoyable to listen to a longer session, compared to the Rainmakers. Anyway to my ears I don,T like metal dome tweeters in general and not Much on Totem speakers. The Mite sound less fatiguing to m'y ears because they have Silk dôme tweeters.
