Probably easier to use add a cercuit tap fuses connectors at the fuse box. And run extended wires. I never like cutting into factory wires.

Anyone installing in a Silverado should skip all this and pull the top glove box, it has 2 t15 torx screws. the wiring harness that runs underneath it has a fat red wire and a pink wire, those are your power and ignition. You can ground to one of the bolts on the frame behind it and velcro the unit to the ac duct beside the box. Also, the T splice described in this video would be highly prone to failure. Please look up a video on doing a proper T splice.

I wouldn’t think this installation method would be recommended for the average person. It’s likely most will cut through the wires.

Bad technical advice cutting factory wiring ,fuse adapter with tail to a connector

Solder your connections.

Id putt t taps with a zip tie or military splice with tesa tape not black tape comes off.

in the video the blue light doesn't continue to flash. Same that I'm getting.

The AT3 never worked the company wont take it back. Wont return a phone call or email I got taken for $86.00.
