Tim, I think I speak for the entire hunting community - be it those that carry an arrow or a rifle - when I say that you epitomise what it means to be a hunter: ethical, efficient, disciplined and determined. Thanks for giving the online community (especially those in countries where your tv show isn't broadcast) access to your hunting adventures, and for showing the world that the concept of an ethical hunter isnt an oxymoron, nor is that of a conservationist hunter

It's a shame when you have to put a disclaimer at the front of the video because a man is hunting. If people can't handle people doing something they have done for thousands or even millions of years according to what you believe, then we have a problem.

The Coyote hunt could've been filmed better. I didn't see one shot! That's the best part with Tim shooting. Still a great video!!

I'm from almost that exact part of Alberta. The reason he didn't shoot that Cougar. Is because unless it's in self defence, or in season, which I'm not sure it was. Which is November, till January. And you need a tag. And have to bring the cat into FnW. That's a big no no. But to be totally honest. This was put up in 2010. So I can't remember what the regs where back then. But If anything, the regs have become more slack as years go by. For the longest time, there was a moratorium on hunting cougars in these parts. They really didn't show up in numbers until the 2000-05ish frame. Maybe he was in a wmu, I'm not aware that had different seasons... But, either way it's entertaining. Had a cousin, get stalked by one while bow hunting elk... He was in a tree stand, and the cat stalked in and was paws up the tree, just about ready to make its move. But his buddy saw the cat and started yelling, scaring it off. Weird. He was in full camo, and the Cat must have mistook him for something else.

What type of arrow head is useing to make such of massive kill i bet those arrow heads are expandable. When they enter they open and make massive damage in all viral.

As someone who's hunted "prey" animals my whole life, I just dont get hunting predators. What's the purpose ? Trophy ? I think/feel like we have a common bond with other predators, and thus dont see the point in taking them. I do understand eliminating coyote's as a "nuisance", but when it comes to lions, wolves, and sorry- yea even bears, again i just feel like we have a kinship with them, and dont get hunting them at all....I respect the rights of those who chose too though.

A great video, but dead camera or not, the mountian lion would have had the blade behind the shoulder. Too cool of an experience not to close the deal.

Danger element which causes a real rush like you've never had. Certain kinds of Alpha males hunt predators. Im a current active duty Marine who's served in OEF. I need a certain kind of rush from a hunt that will only come from hunting "other" predators.
