Pretty late but: There are people who complains too much with the English Dub. In Jojo part 1 and 2 they all had accents (even part 3 but that's just Dio) a lot of people complained that the British accent was too stereotypical even the German accents too. That's why they decided to not add any accents, I think this became a general rule within the dubbing business. There's also the fact that Azur Lane also had accents and just looking at the comment section on English dubbed videos. They complained about the accents. So it's not a good business deal to have many complain about your work, that's why they wouldn't give them accents. Sucks but that's what the world we live in today

@@BenaresDarkness so? Doesn't change the facts that lots of people hated it in other anime. Jojo's dub for example they hated how "fake" it is. Obviously for Americans it's hard to actually give accents without it being cartoony but again this is a democracy. The whole majority rule applies to business practices like the Dub industry. If the majority hated it then they'll change it
