In 1963 the new SD45 EMD introduced a new 20 cylinder engine which blew the horsepower chart to one of its highest levels. Great Northern call this engine "Hustle Muscle" for a reason. It was a powerhouse engine. It was accented with its big massive rear radiators. Lionel shows the strength in this engine. A good video to watch!
