Unless they're before 17 they deffinatly aren't perfect. Thyere a joke today and trash. Not worth more then 20 bucks. I quit because of the quality. If everyone would as stop buying them they will have to fix it.
ok to defend lionel a _little_ bit: for the briscoe pheonix win they said to ignore the tires that are on the car as there would be a separate special set of tires for you to replace the dirt tires with to make it a more accurate replica
My William Byron Liberty University diecast cost me €10 (I live in Europe). The left side of the car has a very noticeable chip and the 24 decal is messed up. Come on Lionel.
before you say these photos arent yours i think it makes sense for people to be mad about 1:24 cars since they’re $70+ but the people taking the microscopic photos of minor paint chips that you can barely see from 5 inches away getting mad about a $5.99 diecast car they got at walmart are kind of delusional in my opinion.
buyers have a right to be displeased with products a company makes. Especially when they have watched the prices go up and the quality go down. Company is getting greedy, not just about a chip on a car or what they are becoming. Look at the god damn new waves and if u still defend them, u got something wrong with you.
I dont know, as someone who has no interest in die cast, if I buy a product advertised to be something then that's what it needs to be. You wouldn't be happy paying $1 for a coke bottle that the lid didn't work on just because it is $1.
Personally I don't think it's worth critiquing the NASCAR authentics, just the fact they use the ptc mold on some of those already tells you the level of quality control that lineup has, but the gold series 1:64 and all 1:24 should really never have the problems we've seen this year, I've seen pictures of Elliott cars with Jones on the windshield banner and I bought the Briscoe Phoenix win which came with dirt tires, Lionel **CAN** make really nice cars but the quality control has just gone out the door recently
Over half of these you’re mad over pretty much nothing. If you get pissed over a tiny little paint scratch, says a lot about you then. Either paint it yourself or just be grateful that you have the die cast you wanted for so long instead of not having it at all.
I’m not. Other people got really mad at them since I found that online but I just made a compilation about it. Also for the big diecasts we sometimes pay over $100 and if there mess up then it makes sense why everyone gets mad
