I agree. It's kind of a toss up between this one a kickboxer but his attitude and no f ing around in this one and the amount of fights he had makes it his best.
@@Garo.11 In all honesty, Kickboxer is pretty awful in a number of ways. I won't go into them all, but the fact that Frank Dux was always a bloody LIAR, cheat, swindler, and a toxic manipulator is pretty much the biggest reason. I have no idea how Lettich and JCVD fell victim to his tall tales, but at the very least, the idea of a "Kumite" is interesting. However, fighting for a little girl to have a better life is MUCH better than what Kickboxer was about.
This punch that Van Damme did is a reality and no matter if you fight against how good he is, with this technique you always win and almost every person can do this technique without practicing😂💪👍👍
100%, brother. The basics are key. Groin strikes, throat strikes, eye strikes. Fighting doesn't have to be complicated, but a lot of people make a lot of money convincing beginners that fighting needs to be so much more than it is.
Harrison Page's work as "Joshua" was bloody awesome, but then again, the ENTIRE supporting cast was brilliant. Seriously. Right down to the little girl.
"Lionheart" is actually a really excellent film. It's all about a guy trying to make one little girl's life better. This was JCVD's best film, no joke.
I enjoyed that line and JCVD's performance of it so much, I made certain to include an homage to it in my own series of books. 💪😎✌️ Long story, but the line goes to a sort of knight-like (or paladin) character. 🐲✨🐲✨🐲✨
1:50 The lady is actress Deborah Rennard. Fans of the TV series "Dallas" will recognise her as J.R.'s fiercely loyal secretary Sylvia "Sly" Lovegren. 😊
Yup. Editing was important in most Lettich films. Still, this was his best, and JCVD's best as well. The writing, pacing, performances, scenes, costuming, lighting, and all of it was far more important than the kicks JCVD threw. 💪😎✌️
I know Van Damme would probably beat him anyway, but I still I felt it was unfair that the other guy needed to fight 2 in a row. In addition, the fact that Van Damme just watch him fighting give him advantage because he learn his moves.
