If I am being honest...after the early leak before the organizations unveil I was nervous. The jerseys as presented seemed underwhelming. But after taking some time to digest, watching the uniform unveiling, and seeing the big picture which now includes the dopest alternate uniform set in the NFL...I am over the moon excited about these Lions new uniforms.
Join me as we go through and review all the fun details about the new uniforms. We will look at the good, the bad, and the not so ugly. We will enjoy the history, embrace the modern flare, and discuss the new level of "POP"

I am a traiditionalist, and though I do like the "Black & Blue" for special occasions, the traditional white, BUT... I really like the Honolulu Blue uni's the best.

I liked the blue pants and blue jersey for home with silver trim and the black uniforms for specail home dates. Do not like the silver pants with blue jersey for the home uniform. Home base uniform has no POP to it. The all white away game uniform is clean and crisp!!!.

100% disappointed when I saw the fanatics preview/leak I was 100% wrong. I now love them as see the detail is in the subtle differences. 100% appreciate the nod to the past, WCF, and Detroit. 🦁💙🏈💙🦁

I prefer the blue jersey. But the black is not bad. But the blue helmet, not so good. The sliver helmet, blue cage, black jersey might be a good look.

I think the blue is the most classic of the three. Black is awesome I think. I agree with the blue helmet… not sold on it just yet.

Thanks so much for your review! Too bad they didn’t go back to ICONIC Lion logo silhouette! Would’ve done black helmet, silver/blue middle stripes, old Lion silhouette logo in Honolulu blue with silver facemask!

I honestly thought that’s sort of what we were going to get. I think they should have kept the other helmet around a bit longer. But overall I am happy 😃

idk what i believe but a counter argument for the leaks being planned would be that leaks are so common in today’s day and age that they made a blanket statement ahead of time just in case. They never named the leak in the video. That could be to avoid giving them more attention but it could also be because at the time of filming, they didn’t know who the leaker (of there even was one) would be.

He and I are not completely opposite, but there are some disagreements. I love the blue pants on the road and I hate the all white road uniform. I would have preferred a thick white stripe on the helmet surrounded by 2 blue stripes and the old Lions Thunderbird Font from the 70's, 80's, and 90's. I will live with the black uniforms simply because Campbell wanted them, but I don't like them. They make the blue look almost powder blue and sometimes teal. We are the Carolina Lions or Detroit Raiders. I also don't think the blue is lighter, it's about the same. So I guess we don't agree on much, but he's a young guy and I'm a veteran Lions fan. I would have done things differently, but all in all, not bad.

One rhing about the collars... the NHL has been doing that for years since addias took over. Its just a little extra easter egg to pay homage to whatever thwy choose to.

St Brown has a deal with Adidas which explains the gloves. He always wears adidas cleats as well.

I think we have moved into the top tier of uniforms now. I wouldn't say best, that still belongs to the Chargers IMO. But i think we are now in the top 3 or top 5 mix with the the few mentioned in my past videos.

The Detroit is too big. I don't mind it being on the chest but it should be smaller. No classic uniforms have that big font. It shows they were trying a little too hard. Overall a nice upgrade, home unis are fire, the large font above numbers unnecessary

I'm happy with the entire set. They are so much cleaner and timeless than the previous set. Sooooo happy the all Grey's are gone. This uniform set is what I feel this team is supposed to represent... blue collar, traditional, simple, timeless.

LOL. I'll probably still watch the games (but I've given up on following the off season) but I'll be knowing it's scripted to cover or not cover the spread...and any number of other "live bets" that go on. The youtube channel that really showed my with his "top ten scripted/rigged plays NFL this week" videos last season..is called "Jake the Asshole."
