Great video, and the best conclusion you make is you could have left the jack on the rig, removed the foot base and then removed the 3 bolted on part with the four o-rings/poly ring in it. Take the part to a hydraulic shop and have them replace the 4 o ring parts, then reinstall. This might be my next move. Thanks again!
Thanks for the video. You stated that next time you would have left the jack on the trailer and removed the footpad and bottom fixture and replaced the seals and reinstalled. Would that approach work if you needed to remove the internal plunger? Would there be enough clearance to drop the plunger down and remove from the jack? Also, how did you hold the plunger to remove the footpad and to reinstall the footpad?
