"Why'd you tell her about the record store?" "Oh, I'm sorry Rob. I didn't know that was classified information. I know we don't have any customers, but, I thought that was a bad thing. Not like a business strategy." 😀😀😀😀😀😀
This is one of those movies that make me wish I could have been born in another time and place. A time and place that could have allowed me to be a free spirit in Chicago. The kind of person who gets to see, and experience, and be a part of, that kind of city-music flavor that is so hard to describe, but so easy to fantasize and wish about. To live in a city that is so big that you have no idea where you will end up come sunrise.
I have no idea only She and Cosby know, I do not take these people too seriously, all these years now they all line up. I do not know what to think and frankly I do not care one way or another, if true is sad and he then sucks as far as I am concerned. like Johnie Mathis song ( Is not for me to say ) :)
1:36 Barry begins this scene by externalizing their communal, internal desire to date a musician. Rob follows up with his wish which is to fully immerse himself in the world of music, from it's infancy, to having his voice heard by the very creator itself and finally, immortalization, within the liner notes, as a joke only previously intimately shared between him and said creator. Barry delves further into his internal psyche. He wants to be seen. And finally Dick, never one to seek attention, is content with just being included somehow, in some way.
Me too! I bought the soundtrack thinking it would be on there but it's not. We can only hope they'll release a 25th Anniversary Edition DVD and include her full performance as a bonus feature. But I'm not holding my breath.
Bad idea to have Jack Black n friends have a long conversation over Lisa Bonets beautiful cover, they should have just focused on Lisa and John no words it would have been amazing. Oh well, the only way thet can be fixed is if a Time Traveler reads this and fixes it. :)
@@MrTedsGarage what? I don’t understand your statement but Lisa is actually singing in this clip so unless you don’t have any proof there’s no reason to believe you sorry.
This is my theory: something "happened" to John Cusack. It is the same thing that happened to Clive Owen . Two brilliant actors, who did astonishing work and then ... slowly descended to doing progressively marginal work or work that did not match their own potential.
Well, Cusack is a real iconoclast. Not very Hollywood in the least, and he's a pretty private guy -- he's never been particularly interested in playing the game. He's also become a lot more associated with the causes he supports (anti-corporate greed, calling out defense spending, etc.). Plus, while getting older is far more detrimental to leading actresses in Hollywood, it's not exactly a picnic for men when they reach their fifties.
Αν τη βελόνα απ' το πικάπ την παρομοιάσουμε με το παρόν ο δίσκος που παίζει τι μπορεί να είναι; 1. Χωροχρόνος 2. Διάστημα - Aπειρο 3. Σερβιρίσματος 4. Yπάρχω - Στέλλιος Καζαντζίδης 5. Τhriller - Micheal Jackson 6. Βινύλιο 7. Δεν έχω πικάπ, δεν απαντώ.
How can people lay claim to knowledge of music when, "like love" it is a deeply personal and unique experience? Age provided a lot of clarification. Makes this movie sad, and the characters totally flawed.
