Im one of those Tina fans, who was observing her from afar, when the so-called 'comeback' happened with 'Private Dancer'. While everybody was blown away, by this 40-something yr old black woman, doing the unthinkable by filling up arenas that were only filled up by superstars like The Stones or Journey or Dire Straits or Prince...I was not fazed, because I knew she was cut from the same cloth as my Aunties and my Mother and my great-grandmother (a woman who was the daughter of parents, born into slavery). And these kind of women, Tina included, YOU DO NOT COUNT OUT...THEY REFUSE TO BE LEFT BEHIND, because they come from nothing. So, if you're the underdog..and all your life, all you've ever known is hardship and hard work, then filling up stadiums and doing 100 city tours to promote an album, isnt the worst or hardest thing, you've ever been thru...not if you have the talent. So, her ascension back to mainstream POP radio, did not blow my mind at all. She is one....tough...customer. WAYYYYYYYYYY tougher than the man she used to be married to. He's a snowflake, compared to her.

And you are equally amazing, Ms. Fischer! Didn’t know you crochet.

I feel like most superstars that have worked with Lisa have great respect and admiration for her as an artist and as one helluva force

As a huge TINA fan, I´ll say this to the production people of this great video. The "Private Dancer" track is TOO loud, I can't hear what Lisa is saying? I want to hear every word. Put Tina on in the beginning and after, and no sound under her Lisa talking please. This is fascinating stuff. Lisa on stage with Tina, wow, her most impressive top-quality competition ever. Lisa left a lasting impression on every member of the audience attenting her last two tours

Tina is amazing, the Stones are amazing, and both of these acts AND MORE decided Lisa Fischer was good enough to sing with them. That's saying a lot. Lisa is absolutely amazing both as a performer and a person. I absolutely love her.
