I lost the one and only true love of my life in 2021 after 39 years of marriage. I honestly feel like I don't know how to love anyone else. I'm still so in love with my husband. I don't even consider myself a widow because I'm still very married to him. I'm okay with that. Maybe things might change but I highly doubt it and I'm okay with that too. I'm throwing all my time and love into my kids and grandkids. I thank God every day for them. I'm really glad that this wonderful woman found love again. 🥰😇🙏🏽💙

As a widow, this came at a perfect point in time for me. It was explained in only a way that another whose lost the absolute love of their lives could relate to.

I know exactly what you mean. My beloved husband passed away 18 years ago, and I still love him and miss him and think about him every single day. I, too, have remarried, and I have found happiness again . I did feel very conflicted, but my lovely mother-in-law told me that she was glad that I had found happiness and she also told me that my late husband, her son, would also be happy for me and I was too young not to have someone to share life with. I was 42 years old when I was widowed and I was adamant I would never re-marry. When I married again, I knew it was the right thing for me to do, 13 years later, I am still happy with my second husband.

I'm happy for Lisa, and she so eloquently explained the dynamics of grief when you're widowed. I was widowed young and can relate to much of what she said. I've had one crappy relationship since my husband died. I'm taking time for myself at the moment...next time I'll be more careful and a little more choosy lol. I hope we all find happiness again and can still experience the growing old with someone that we feel robbed of. Much love ❤

good for her! i too am a widow my husband died at age 43 in 2018 and it was rough but ive moved on and its ok! you have to continue to live your life. so happy to see her happy again
