My real life name was almost Valentino and I will never forgive my father for the attempt #magicthegathering #mtg #mtgcommunity #cardgame #mtgcommander
As a meren player I will cry and scream when you exile my sakura tribe elders and spore frogs but we all know I was going to use those mofos at least a million and a half time in the span of two seconds and you are just helping them rest in peace
That's why I have glissa in my deck, 3 mana for 3/3 with first strike and death touch, buff her with an enchantment that +1/1 every kill and she quickly becomes unstoppable!
Thank you for introducing me to this Golgari gem. With such a fair and deserving magic card I look forward to making enemies of other dredge lovers and redefining what it means to say "I'll pay the 1"
Another Golgari gem is the other BG DFMC "Blex / Search for Blex" because you can utilise its backside during infinite mana combos to draw your entire deck.
a few fun surprises for a lisette deck - vorniclex, spike feeder and cryptic trilobite, aetherflux reservoir, the ozalith, and why not a dina and sanguine/exquisite combo just to keep that target right on my forehead (i crave the attention)
@@maldhoundFun fact only about 36% of highschool students join sports, so a participation trophy means that students tried where the other 64% didn't.
Yooooo, speaking of unearned goodies! Urabrask granting 1 One Mana and 1 Damage to opponent for casting an instant/sorcery is one of the funniest damn abilities and I'd love to see a vid on it. Many people I've come across all say at first "It's just one Mana" and "It's just 1 Damage" until you hit them with the most disgusting chain of 1 Mana spells that each do 8 Damage because Ojer Axonil is on the field and both the Spell and Urabrask did at least 1 Damage.
The intrusive thoughts are winning here...did you stop playing because nobody wanted to play against the triplets? Lol God that card brings back memories. All of them are terrible.
@@StarkEpiphany lmao no, just kind of drifted away from it. I wasn't a very experienced player, so it didn't have a clear win condition outside of outlasting people with life gain
I've lost count how many times but I'm not gonna stop asking for a roast of my favorite red degenerate, Feldon of the Third Path. Mono-red isn't supposed to reanimate!
I've had a Lisette deck ever since Strixhaven came out. And she's been a blast to play with. She'll get all your creatures to 14 +1/+1 counters after 3 turns, but your opponents have a chance to interact with them so it feels fair. Plus lifegain helps when you get targeted early on before the bigger decks take the aggro from you.
I've never seen them, and I'm glad. This seems like a very slow, but sudden death. I have lost track on how many times I've asked for a roast of Marchesa the Black Rose. Probably five, but it may be more.
Damn, this looks fun. Might actually build it myself. Also, while it’s definitely a niche commander, but I would love to see Tawnos, Solemn Survivor on here sometime.
There's a green creature with devour and creates saprolings equal to the +1/+1 counters on it at the start of the turn, paired with essence warden and commander lady that would be a fun board state.
Thank you for these. I haven’t played Magic since fucking Time Spiral and don't know what "commander" is, but these absolutely make me wonder if maybe i should learn.
100 cards, no duplicate card names except for basic lands. You get a fancy lad as your "commander" that you can always cast and doesn't go in the deck, but the tradeoff is nothing in your deck can be a color that your commander isn't. Oh, and you start with 40 life. Usually it's a 4 player free-for-all game mode, but it doesn't necessarily have to be.
The biggest thing I see here is that you can activate this multiple times per turn which means you can effectively convert 7 mana into 7 +1 counters on all of your creatures. Not to mention its in the money color so they have the mana to spare.
You can only pay (1) per instance of life gain. And even the most prolific lifegainers will find it hard to get 7 instances of lifegain in a single turn
The thing about the Dean of the Vein is that it only affects creatures that actually hit the board at some point. Oh no, if they kill my reanimator target I won't be able to reanimate it a second time! That was my plan b so I guess I'll just have to win with plan a.
Another request for Amalia Benavides Aguirre. Lost Caverns vampire who gets stronger or builds your hand every time you gain life. Then, when she reaches 20/20 she blows up.
I ran this as a commander for a while. It really is as mean as you'd like it to be. I swapped this deck for a different Golgari hate machine, but that's not the story at hand. That said, I'm still asking for Eriette to get the stage. Please, Mister Funny ha ha Magic Man, talk about Orzhov enchantment Bae?
In the line of Golgari gain life how about a go at Dina soul steeper ? Recently just annihilated my whole table with her, Urborg and Roots of life, can't tell you the emotionnal roller coaster of a turn that they had, first the happiness of everyone gets free swamps into the "oh, by the way, if you use those swamp Imma flicker you in the eyeball"
As a graveyard player (Muldrotha Superfiends, Shessra, Meren, etc), we absolutely do deserse the oppression. But also, if you can't deal with a 1/1 who dies if they sneeze too hard? You might have bigger issues
that is the normal rule unless everything I have read is wrong. the identity is green black and when casting you can cast either side. additionally there are some of these 'modal' cards where one side is legendary creature and the other is a sorcery or land, and even these qualify as commanders and either side can be cast. the problem is that you still need to pay commander tax on each additional cast.
