I've been taking Lisinopril/Hydrochlorizide for about 25 years. I didn't have high blood pressure when I started taking it. What I had was severe Migraine headaches. I worked with an open minded doctor, and we tried all kind of things, both natural and pharmaceutical. But, when I started taking Lisinopril the headaches went away. Haven't had one since. And I suffer no side effects.
I just started taking Lisinopril two weeks ago. I am a 64 year old type 2 diabetic and in control with medication and diet. My blood pressure has started to climb a bit to where the doctor fealt it was time to treat it before it became a serious issue. I am feeling a little bit dizzy, ears ringing and just a little nauseous. My blood pressure has dropped however. I was given 2.5mg tablets and told to cut them in half. The side effects are real. I am so glad I am on a very low dose. I am very sensitive to prescription medications. Be careful with this medication.
I was taking both lisinopril-hydrochlorothiazi & amlodipine for over 6 years. After some health issues that landed me in the hospital twice taking test after test for heart, kidneys, liver, gallbladder, a cat scan & more. They couldn’t find a problem. When sitting at home after all these test, I discovered that all my symptoms were the also the side effects of the amlodipine. My BP at this point was running 145/80 & I was getting hypertension. My doctor didn’t think I should stop, but I did cold turkey. It’s been 17 days, my BP is 123/62 since stopping. Can I get your thoughts of just staying on the lisinopril-hydrochlorothiazi. I’ve also started loosing weight, no more swollen legs, BP’s down, head rushes, dizziness, heart beating in my throat are gone. Thank You Guy

I was on Lisinopril for 3 yrs. It made me feel awful with joint pain, dizziness, and more. I changed my diet. No Carbs At All. Lots of meat... I lost 20 lbs, in 10 weeks, 10 to go, and I am off of this poison , I feel GREAT. It's all about your diet, friends. .
"HOW TO TAKE IT CORRECTLY", Open mouth, insert medication, swallow medication, enjoy lower blood pressure. Put away medication in a safe place out of the reach of children.
One thing I am not seeing mentioned, but is mentioned in case studies, is that some people have gotten DIL- Drug induced Lupus. I am having classic visible symptoms of Lupus. The malar rash, photosensitivity, arthritis pain, muscle weakness and twitching, rash.
The arthritis pain and muscle weakness interests me, it's my current concern. But what damage has the Amlodopine caused!!; it certainly raised my blood pressure.
Lisinopril and other ace inhibitors are snake venom. They synthesized the snake venom of the Brazilian Pit Viper after noticing the snake killed it's prey by the venom lowering the blood pressure in the rodent it bit. It lowers blood pressure, but then you have all the other nasty side effects of the snake venom. It causes alot of people to become psychotic, and when the doctors don't know it's Lisinopril causing it, they are misdiagnosed with schizophrenia.
I don't understand things, but your explanation was good. I wish you would really answer questions. I am mid 60s, female, have angina and had have had a heart attack. I am a diabetic with nerve damage and who is also on dialysis. A new doc subscribed this for me 2 weeks ago along with Lyrica, but will not return my calls to help ease my concerns. Do I need to just take this stuff or get a new doc?
I had to go to the emergency room because my throat was swollen shut and they took me off of lisinopril and put me on losartan but they said for me to never take Lisinopril again because it could cause me to die
I've experienced minor dizziness and slight fatigue sometimes. Been on 40 milligrams for about 4 years now. Am I on it for life? Doctors are always prescribing but rarely explain their goal for you.
Lisinopril Raises Potassium. Taking Hydroclorathizide With it since last Monday. Lisinopril says to eat 2000 mg a day of Potassium a day. Starving. working good but been dizzy & I think I'm getting constipated. Side effects I know, Will know in a couple days. Lisinopril says it tends to Offset the potassium depleting effects of Hydrochlorothiazide. My question is am I eating enough potassium? Thanks for your help. Stephen. Starving.

@@pf210 I think so, but that could be just feeling less anxiety when I see normal BP readings now. I feel better already and it took a few hours to work on the first dose but everyone is different.
No, it will never go away actually get worse. Sadly those who cough on ACE pills have a higher rate of cough on ARB's I am living this dream now, I cough and have chronic throat tickle that wrecks most days, about to just live with blood pressure, least I would have a few normal years.
Regarding your past erectile dysfunction video I'm 19 and still a virgin and I can't seem to have sex, I get hard for most part of the day, but prior to intercourse, I can't seem to get hard or maintain erection no matter what I do, this has happened on different occasions with different females. I don't take alcohol by the way
You might need to see a therapist to get over anxiety. I would also highly a B-Vitamin complex like Jarrow Formulas B-Right and recommend pelvic floor exercises. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GgRUroD8c0o.html
