Oh also- abused children know how to survive mind games with adults. That *_does not mean they are naturally more sneaky, cunning, manipulative, and controlling. They are children trying to survive_* in a world where they are inherently less respected and taken less seriously than the adults around them. Adults tend to believe other adults first. The survival of an abused child isn’t fucking sinister or controlled. They are surviving they are just babies. Honestly i forget just how different evan was in the first episode, it’s truly like he’s never had a good interaction with anyone ever before this episode and picks himself up SO fast
oh gosh misfits and magic is probably my favorite d20 campaign even though it's only 4 episodes long. They really knocked it outta the park with this one in terms of characters and chemistry and just everything.
This series was so special. Part of me wants to see Evan's story adapted to a full-on theatrical film, and part of me thinks that the story couldn't possibly be the same without the awkwardness of improv.
I’ve been rewatching seasons of D20 lately, and I forgot just how good this was! It truly marked a new chapter for the show, and just as all of the cast and crew over there have said, Aabria was a game changer. I’m about to queue up the complete experience because of this video, so thank you!

Societally, she's wrong, but scientifically, she's right. It's fine if you don't agree with her, but you can't just insult someone because you don't agree with them. She has just as much right so free speech as you do. Either way, her books are amazing.
