@Atom-56 The song is so well crafted. It speaks to me In So many ways , as if Jon is telling me something. Sure alot feel that way about it. Takes me back to a time , when I fell in love with YES....ABWH, actually. When I heard Brother of Mine on radio, my musical taste, (was a big prog fan anyway,) changed. Love these epics, ...like reading a book. Cheers.

Yeah, Jon has the ability to reach right into peoples souls. It’s well known, that he had wanted to be with Yes one last time, so they could do one more epic album, he had gathered his ideas and had made 30 demos for it. He made several attempts, asking Steve Howe if he would do it, but it was all in vain. By chance he hooked up with TBG to tour Yes music, wondering if their creative side, could come up with anything for his demos. Richie Catellano (bass player and producer) picked out some of the material and TBG added to it. Who would have thought, that they could have brought to the table, something as stunningly beautiful as what Wakeman and Howe are capable of……. I think even Jon was blown away with it, he said, that he has nothing left to prove.

@@Atom-56 I would argue that neither McCartney, Stewart, Clapton, Mac or Hackett are producing the same type of music as JA - that was my point - but of course there are lots of similarly aged artists out there and yes, rock on!

Without even seeing part 5 yet, your reaction Jim to part 4 is priceless!!!! I see your admiration , love of the music, the look in your eyes, and almost tearing at times. As they should be! This music , lyrics, sentiments, performance of it , and Jon Anderson is perfect. My feelings exactly too. I love side 4 so much and it is so poignant at thi stage of life for Jon who will be 80 in one month. God bless him and thanks to Band of Geeks too for these masterpieces and a wonderful album. I am 70 and have been a Yes fan since 1971 and this is in the very top tier of an amazing body of work. This has lifted me to a place like 50 years ago and in some ways even higher. I look forward to seeing your review and whether m read of you was correct. Thank you Jim .

very good reviews, the long songs are fantastic and in general it is a great great album, the spirit of YES is alive... Jon's voice is magical as always, the instruments sound very good, the guitars have that bipolarity that at times you hear to Howe but Rabin interrupts hahaha (personal preference), thanks Jim

The thing that comes through for me is that, even though his creativity has narrowed in terms of the kinds of ideas he employs (for example, when was the last time he leaned into anything in a minor key?), Jon just never seems to run out of ways to construct a song. That said, what I miss in this new music is almost a restriction on the number of different ideas allowed. "Heart of the Sunrise" was probably no more than 10 different themes, riffs, and motifs. "Once Upon a Dream" felt like 50 or so different ideas strung together. I have a feeling Richie wasn't driving that, since this was also the case with the 'Invention of Knowledge' of album. At the end of the day I'm just glad that Jon has an outlet for his songs to be heard. Hopefully there'll be more to come.

Great sonics orchestration production sentiments his voice compositions ethereal at times. It is one of those records i need 2nd 3rd listens some point later to know if i like it or love it though. Agree about the cover Jim. Deserved something maybe a bit more (not that he isnt!!) beautiful...👍....it kind of reminds me if of 1960 mass production album covers in a good way though...

What wondrous and impenetrable youth this avatar of a human being doth sustain! My excitement at this monumental achievement mounteth, and mirrors that of Close to the Edge, nay, Olias!...even more than Tales...which seems rather sleepy next to the driving energy the outstanding Band Geeks brings to these productions. Who will be the spiritual touchstone and lodestone, once this beautiful man courses his way back home? Wherefrom the medicinal music? Great to share this.

Don't like it . Very stupid name for a band and worst cover ever . The music : same mistakes as with AWBH and some other stuff that came out since the 90's .....too much siging goin' on and not enough space so one can breath for some time instead of being bombarded with lyrics continuously. It is a good effort though but with to many references to older stuff and little surprises . The album is like the new Alien movie that harks back to the original and copies a lot , but still leaves you unsatisfied . My opinion.
