I personally believe that the original Ratchet and Clank trilogy on the PS2, absolutely deserve the Crash and Spyro esque remasters. Not no reboots or any silly movie based nonsense.
I feel like they will end up changing the personality and feel of the original Ratchet & Clank games if they remaster them. The movie will forever continue to affect the vibe and style of the series.
@@CaveyMoth Not if they stick to the roots that Crash and Spyro did with their trilogy remasters. It has to keep that OG feeling to it, because if they do what the PS4 reboot did. Then it'll flop badly like the game and movie did.
What camera/lenses are you using? It'd be great to see you go through the process of how you do your shoots i.e. shot set ups, lighting, its produced some incredible imagery.
Do you think if the remaster/remake the original series that they try and iron out some of the kinks brought in due to the Future series rushed story and perhaps add in some of the things they wanted to do that they couldnt at the time
I pray they never remake the og quadrilogy, those games are fine as they are. No need to remake them. Just upscale the graphics and port them to modern consoles, otherwise you're just hurting game preservation.
I would be totally fine if they just port the games for the current generation of console instead of remastering/remaking them, it would be nice to play them instead of dust off your old and laggy ps3 to play R&C
Playing Jak and Daxter Bundle on PS5 was awesome. They have it on PS4 as well. It's the Jak trilogy + Jak X combat racing. Not quite as good graphics as PS3 since it's a PS2 port without the new textures, but the latency/responsiveness is very good, and DualSense controller works well. The best way to play the trilogy imo
I wish they would release the Ratchet and Sly games on current gen in the same way they did the Jak 'quadrilogy'. I don't know why they made the leap and the others didn't
@@ZPixel17 Yeah, OpenGOAL is great, and the mods are really fun, I just prefer playing on console generally (especially PS5), and also we only have the first game in OpenGOAL right now (2nd is being made with the 3rd also planned apparently). I read that the Jak and Daxter Bundle played better on PS5 than playing it on PS4, with fewer glitches. I've also heard about glitches in the PS3 version so I'm not sure which is better in that regard. For me, playing on PS5 was almost perfect. I noticed slight lag in The Precursor Legacy during some vehicle sections for some reason, but the whole rest of all 4 games ran very smoothly, save for one glitch: There was a visual glitch in the Jak 2 final boss fight against Metal Kor where the rings he throws appear as a big dark object and you just have to approximate where to jump through. Those were the only 2 problems I experienced, but for how well the games played overall, it was worth it
Don't think you're an idiot for criticizing the changes made within a remaster, remake, or even reboot. Deviation from the source material shall not be tolerated unless it is in line with the intention of the creators. We will not support imposters parading around in the names of our treasured IPs.
