I don't see him beating a guy like Fury, I don't see him winning in a brawl with Ortiz, and Wilder is a brawler with insane range so I don't see him winning. Wilder has been hurt before but he's shown the ability to recover. Will Ruiz take these fights? I believe he'd fight Fury for the pay day and security. He won't take the Ortiz fight because there's no upside but he matches up the best against him. For politics reasons the Wilder fight will pushed heavily but Wilder struggles with inside fighters. Aj's team will have to swallow their pride because while they are the A side they don't have any pull with fans right now or power. Since Ruiz holds the belts he's forced to at least defend one or else they will be vacated and the boxing association will practically hand it back to AJ. Aj's team will most likely argue that he won't make more money with any other fight so for that reason they should take a bigger cut but I doubt he wins that fight and the risk isn't worth the reward in the end. AJ will learn from his mistakes and try to range him out for the distance. Aj's team can't afford to stall or push Ruiz around though because if he fights any of the 3 above AJ runs the risk of losing his claim to fame/Monopoly which validates the argument he didn't really earn his belts. We most likely won't see a title fight from him for awhile if those 3 get the belt. If I was Ruiz's team I'd shop around and force AJ to a 70/30 split because I may never be this high again.

Long story short it's not likely if he fights the best but the money he'll make and the position he's in is amazing. If someone either than AJ gets those belts it completely shifts boxing and if AJ ducks it will ruin his image. Ruiz is a good fighter 33-1 is no joke but the competition is just better imo.
