It's hard to believe Dr. Heiser is gone. Way too young.

I find myself still wanting to call into the show. My favorites are from the 90’s. RIP Mr Bell

I got to talk to Mr. Art Bell 1 time on air after calling in. Grateful for that!

Dr Heiser is greatly missed. He’s home now and knows all the answers. Thanks for sharing this show.

thank you so much for uploading this; Dr. Heiser was one of my favorite people on the planet and I still mourn his passing. if you haven't read The Façade, please do; it and it's follow up novel, The Portent are really good. if you want a deep dive into scripture, Unseen Realm, Demons and Angels are great references; ever the scholar, Dr. Heiser never stopped searching for the truth.

Art kept me company many a night even in Alaska... He turned dark nights into a virtual Disneyland of intrigue.... I mean disney before they went wok, of course.... :)

RIP Mike and Art, your both missed greatly

I miss this show so much. Like Mike, it got me through hundreds of hours of boring homework in college. And Mike is one of the best Christian bible scholars, I always learn something new from him. His book Unseen Realm is one of the best on the subject.

Did the word 'Rocket' in any language even exist in ancient times? Surely the term didn't even exist because rockets weren't even thought of if for no other reason than because there was no such thing as the combustion engines?

First….NOBODY HAD OR HAS “THE” ANSWER, only PARTS oh AN answer. If I stand firm on that, then I can’t be manipulated. This guy thought he had “THE” ANSWER.

There were no mistakes in the Tora. It was repeated by individual priests, over and over again while writing it. I’m sure that it was checked against the original. That’s why the Tora survived so intact-it was a sacred undertaking to rewrite it over and over again through the generations. The priest may have interpreted some one else’s writing as different perhaps, although I don’t know how that is even possible. But even he made a notation apparently to be checked. I’m seeing some discrepancies in this professor’s ideas with language about the plural gods-that is what the Bible states, “US, OUR,” image. I also believe this because the Bible wasn’t going to be written in a pronoun English type manner. He says it’s the Hebrew language, but I feel he’s taking liberties because there’s many Bible versions-translations that say ‘plural.’ The story parallels are meant to be deep but I’m not thinking the language would be complicated for the uneducated masses. The Bible code using a statistical , random pattern, having a possible code could also be a possibility. If you are thinking in another sense like in a computer sense. This would entail a much more sophisticated mind behind the Tora-the creator, or a creator that is in ultimate control with unlimited mathematical skill (omniscient) and knowledge of future events. I also think that Zachariah Sitchen has a lot of research to back up many of his claims and pioneered a lot of ideas about translations of Sumerian texts although I’m not 100% they are all correct. I also believe that there is #1. GOD, #2. JESUS, and #3. The HOLY SPIRIT. They are one in the way we are all “one.” We work interchangeably with each other and many be connected in a quantum scientific (though electrons, etc.) way but we are still separate. I’m also noticing this professor isn’t really putting forth theories but rather tearing other’s theories apart. That is a red flag. To me anyway, who wants to learn and not just have others works critiqued. This was over 20 years ago so perhaps people’s minds are more open instead of trying to put these authors and God into a neat box. People are starting to think more outside the box these days in 2023.

If god works in mysterious ways Moby Dick could be hiding Biblical truths. 😂😂😂

This interview has to be prior to 2010, Sitchin passing. I believe Sitchin had said he had been visited by an annunaki. To me that wouldve been a deception of a fallen angel therefore false teaching, an intentional deception to him and all that believe his teachings.

John 14:28 “my Father is greater than I.” It doesn’t negate the Trinity to say in Genesis “let us make them in our image.” The “us” is The Trinity. Jesus says the Father is above the Son.

Who is the first human being that supposidely was spoken to by God? And how in any possible way could we know whether it was the True God speaking to him, or nothing but colorful imagination? And where are all the sacred prophets today? Has God stopped speaking to people? I think the assumptions made about humans possibly even knowing what God thinks as absurd from the beginning. No one knows what the God force is. And "God" is taken from the word "good". The force is not a man or anything that thinks the way human beings do. Everyone wants to put "God" in the box they like best and every other concept in evil forbthe devil, etc., etc.

Why encode the Bible, while in the same go, ensure it becomes one sure popular book? So you want an overal message out there, but hand out true wisdom to a few? What about equality and overal love? Does God choose to love or loves us all?

The caller at the beginning thinking the bible is a book of facts is hilarious. Not only has it been re-written multiple times, had its contents edited, and had elements removed because they didn't fit the narrative, it has no true source and has only a few people mentioned that we can prove MAY have existed. There's more to it that is grounded in reality and is based on actual scientific possibilities than just hocus pocus. As the saying goes, "you can't teach an old dog new tricks." In this case, you can't teach a religious person science.

I find it very exciting that these folks study for so long to get to the truth already told to us in the scriptures, and from our LORD'S own lips saying things like,..."IF YOU HAVE SEEN ME, YOU HAVE SEEN....
