Yup the chat is canon in the SMP. As you know, for Techno we’re voices in his head and as you can tell from the song the chat mainly yells at Techno to kill people. The chat often yells blood for the blood god. They also yell when certain people arrive like Tommy, Phil, Wilbur, etc. The term one of us, is yelled whenever someone becomes a channel member. However, recently Techno has a dedicated sellout timer where he’ll go and ring the channel member and tell everyone to subscribe or become a member during streams. He did this since Tommy had a prime log where when we he rang it people would use their Twitch Prime. Also, the chat is also canon for Philza but for him it’s in the form of crows.
We only scream at him to kill people and “Blood for the Blood god” when it’s a lore stream, most chill streams have the voices saying things like E, /rainbowchat, mic muted, technoblind, technobald, name a dog after me and of course Pog
NATE I love Derivakat so much for adding the "one of us" 😭. Nobody in her premiere was expecting it and we all went MAD when it started because it's such an iconic and old part of Techno's live chat, we died with nostalgia. She's an absolute genius for turning a silly thing that we do when someone becomes channel member into something so epic.
Fun fact with the "Voices" song - the chorus bg bits are made up of 70+ fans sending in audio, to make it sound like the tons of voices constantly in technos head.
@@NateAlyn A channel without a name has one of my fav AU (alternate universe, basically like headcanon but not real canon) for Techno called "Theseus" and I I OBSESSED. And late-august is almost as big of a name in the DSMP as SAD-ist. If you ever post a poll, and include an opportunity for late-august, I'll be sure to post what ones you have the lore context for (I I theres only one or two). Picture SADist quality but not moving much, but with color reminiscent of oil paintings.
My favorite part of being part of the DSMP fandom is all the cool artwork, animations/animatics, and songs that people create based on the stacky block game. It’s just incredible.

alright, i'm gonna have to recommend "turn back time" and "tell your story" it might not make sense cause it's karl lore and you haven't watched karl's lore on dsmp, (which you should, *wink wink nudge nudge*) but they're still pretty fire songs.

I remember the first time I tuned in to a techno stream, at some point when he rang the bell the entire chat started chanting ONE OF US nonstop in all caps and i got really scared for a hot minute trying to figure out what was happening
Honestly, I love all the creative talent that comes from the Dream SMP community. Like, it's a block game but it really feels like so much more, and the songs just encapsulate that perfectly.

I have been OBSESSED with Derivakat's music since I discovered Voices, then found Syndicate, then Ain't no Crying, then In My Head. Like binge-listening repeatedly and randomly getting the songs popping up in my head throughout my day when I HAVEN'T BEEN LISTENING TO IT FOR A WHILE. Which then prompts listening to the songs all over again.
derivakat has SO much range in her vocals as well as her genres. once you get further along in the smp plot, and you react to more of her music, you'll see just how much she can do. she's made so many songs, and yet they're all so stylistically unique

One reason why I really enjoy watching Nate’s reactions is that he doesn’t hold back his excitement for it. When he gets into the content, he gets *into it*, and isn’t afraid to act accordingly. Full on head banging, you can tell it’s all genuine. He’s havin a good time :D

The songs were interesting, this reaction was epic. Hopefully the next evanmcgaming video show the things of sadists animation so u can watch, it was crazy and when u react later rewatch the animation after u watched it once and u go look at the details even if it's not on camera because it is beautiful and on the first time I watched it was good but the 2nd and 3rd viewing were better cause I looked for detail and the detail is amazing.
