I loved your reaction to it, in response to your question though Amy is the singer. Paul is a guest vocalist on this song, I forgot the name of his band. From what I've heard, My Immortal is the follow up to Bring Me to Life, she's dead (an angel) and that's why her feet never touch the ground. That's for the video, the song is more personal.

You caught it right at the end of My Immortal. If you notice, she never touches the ground in the video. It symbolizes that she's the one that's gone and can't let go. She haunts him.

Evanescence is a great band, Amy Lee (vocalist) is a goddess, top tier. And about the reference in My Immortal, yes, in that video she's like an spirit or a ghost, that why she never touched the ground. Amy Lee's voice es perfection, pure emotions. May I suggest "Evanescence - Everybody's Fool" and "Evanescence - Lithium".

Great reaction. I hate when music videos step on the music, that dumb wind noise is persistent in Wake me up. Another music video that is annoying after the first time is Metallica One. Good once for explanation but after that you just want to hear the music.

Damn…even in a reaction video My Immortal still has me tearing up. Evanescence is a great band! Their songs are somber and beautiful. Would love to see a part 2 to this cuz they really do have great songs you gotta hear! But imma suggest Breaking Benjamin again. They also can bring out a lot of emotions with the intensity of the songs. Imma suggest “Dairy Of Jane” an older song yet their most popular and “Red Cold River.”

Amy Lee the vocalist hated the rapping oarts of this song,so she never includs it in her live performances ever. She was kinda forced into it by the record company. He doesn't really feature in other songs. But this is their biggest hit to date though.
