Anytime I even mention Myxomatosis people immediately disregard it as garbage but from the moment I ever heard it I was absolutely hooked to it so it's very surprising seeing people who actually appreciate one of the most underrated Radiohead songs of all time and a wolf at the door is by far Radioheads best way of ending any album they've made
@@yesgamer3008 I agree!!! Myxomatosis doesn’t get the love that it deserves. Genuinely one of the coolest songs I’ve heard. Plus the lyrics in it are just so good. A wolf at the door is another song that I adore the lyrics in so much that I memorized them lol
It begins and ends in the most heartbreaking way I have ever been able to feel for an album and identify with it, thank you Radiohead for being what didn't drive me to commit suicide
This album came out right after my 21st birthday. It was instantly iconic to me. It came during a time of warping US identity following the invasion of Iraq. It also came at the beginning my first romance - all of the emotions and highs mixed with this very unromantic album. It was my sophomore year of college, a time where the world seemed a bit scarier by the day, as more and more layers of distortion were being lifted and I could see the world more clearly. This album paints a raw and unflinching view of the human experience and captures an angst about our present crises that make it one of my favorite albums from that era. It's bold in its honesty.
I remember this Album became my favourite right after The Strokes Is This It. It came as a leak album named "All Hail to the Thief" months before the album released.

@@paulimbacanaI think what he means is the fact that Hail to the Theif has kind of bad track listing and because of that it doesn’t feel too much of an album but more just a bunch of songs randomly thrown in
@@officialhankertanker i see, the funny thing is that albums originally were always just a random collection of songs from the same artist, this notion would only change in the 60s. either way, its not a rule yknow?
I guess in the context of Radiohead, Ok computer and Kid A are more coherent as 'albums' @@paulimbacana , it's like after Kid A nothing was quite the same.
I don't even know why Go to Sleep is one of the funniest shit I've listened to from Radiohead. I love it, but something about it makes me giggle like an idiot every time. It honestly sounds like organized chaos sometimes.
My favorite album by Radiohead. although it can have its lows with the gloaming and sit down stand up the highs of 2+2 = 5, Sail to the moon, There there, Wolf at the door, Go to sleep mixed in with so many underrated tracks like Punch up at a wedding, we suck young blood, Myxomatosis, Where I end and you begin AND MOST IMPORTANTLY I WILL the album is just so perfectly blended I find it very similar to Ok Computer in its own way.
I’m 12 and love Radiohead. I noticed there was a decent amount of Ryan gosling in this video, and there’s a clip of him from blade runner in about every Radiohead themed video like this one. He’s one of my favorite actors. Maybe him and Radiohead are connected in some way I don’t understand and that’s why I like them both so much
The sit down stand up one is me one the paying attention part ends and that new riff begins(this was not intended to be a whre i end and you begin reference that was accidental)
