Seriously though, zeltbahns while being a literal 'cope' mechanism for shelter, are much more fun when suffering with your friends. We got a very limited run of these, so for any Strichtarn (or East German Army) fans head up to our bio today before they are gone for good!

Not much utility in Australia. It's rare you need a poncho level rain cover lol

True on that count, still - blanket, ground sheet, OP cover or tent. Imagination is the limit (although bugger that with your wildlife lol!)

Used similar ones in the Swiss army, they didn’t hold water very well, but it was better than being drenched in the rain for sure 🤷🏻‍♂️

definitely on both counts! A full fledged tent is gonna always be 100% better but the zeltbahn concept was mostly from a age before synthetic polyester & coatings. There are plenty of ways to try 'proof' them a little more thanks to modern technology though
