From "Parks & Recreation": a mockumentary series following Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler), the deputy director of the Parks and Recreation department in the fictional town of Pawnee, Indiana. Leslie is determined to improve her small world through her job, despite resistance from Parks Director Ron Swanson (Nick Offerman), an anti-government Libertarian. The series also stars Aubrey Plaza, Chris Pratt, Rashida Jones, Aziz Ansari and Retta.

@@theiosif3632 On “Brooklyn 99,” Mark’s character Kevin is married to Captain Holt, so seeing Mark and Nick in this scenario just makes me think of those moments when someone meets their spouse’s ex, which was denied in the show and so it’s just fun to imagine it’s happening here.🤷🙂

Multiply rate x number of hours to accomplish (rounded up), factor in potential liability x probability of such, determine liquidity of client as a bounded proration of gross nominal cost, make decision thereby, then proffer. Simple enough. What do you do in these situations, guess?

Super smooth delivery on that "Fwar, Dips, Winshares, Gritt, Babip, Pecosa Vorp & Eckstein" (: Clearly meant to make him fumble But it was like.. When the police tries to stop a speeding vehicle by deploying a spike chain, and the vehicle just powers over it and continues unscathed.

Classic Mike Schur names. 😂. He and his writers talk a lot about Schur’s fascination with creating funny sounding names. Sometimes he’ll even just start random typing motions to see what comes up and what sounds funny.

@@ryangoosenissley Exactly: Fwar (fWAR): FanGraphs' calculation of Wins Above Replacement Dips (DIPs): Defense Independent Pitching Statistics Winshares (win shares): A metric for evaluating the contribution of individual players to their team's overall performance Gritt (grit): This one's not a stat, they're probably just referring to grit, a player's innate spirit/resolution/etc Babip (BABIP): Batting Average on Balls In Play Pecota (PECOTA): Player Empirical Comparison and Optimization Test Algorithm Vorp (VORP): Value Over Replacement Player and David Eckstein who, on top of being World Series MVP and the Babe Ruth winner in 2006, was also the shortest player in baseball at the time (which I suppose is its own obscure stat).
