@@Szrapnel__ I'm German and I think IT was a mistake to give those lands. But what I care more about than this territory is the friendship to the Polish people and no matter how much i wish for those lands to come back, i wouldnt even considering driving one Polish citizen out of their homes just to gain some territory which has nothing to do with us anymore. There are no Germans anymore. German language, German food, German music, German culture in General disappeared. Now it's your territory and I wouldnt change one single thing about it. Everything we get in mind when talking about Prussia and the old times is gone. For us it's foreign land now. It would be nothing more than more square km and foreign lands we wouldnt even feel home in. The old times are gone. Now it is your land. Your people built their homes there. They spent their lives there for generations now. Doesnt matter if it was a mistake to give you those territories. It's your land now. I love the German Empire very much and the good old times. But I've accepted those Times are over and nowadays i could not be prouder to see our soldiers serving in the NATO together. Most Important is that we Europeans stick together as brothers. For me personally the teaching of WW2 should ne that Germany takes responsibility for the safety of our East-European brothers. I myself want to join the Bundeswehr in the near future because i want to defend my European brothers No matter what happens. We are all a big Family even if we speak different languages and have man's disagreements. At the end of the day. The German border is just a border and my love and respect for the people doesn't end at our border. If I want to visit the old territories i can do so. If I want to live there I'm free to move there. Most important thing is we get along with eachother and live in peace
