Everyone only gets as much as they are destined for, nothing more then it nothing less then it, not before time not after time. And no one can take away that from u.
Abi, absolutely wonderful. I absolutely loved this song. I heard you on Woman's Hour (BBC-R4) this week. Absolutely exceptional. I look forward to hearing and enjoying much more of your amazing masterpieces!!
OMG... this music is soulful, innovative, with a very gifted musician and singer in Abi Sampa... this is magic, as well as her other songs I've listened to so far 😍😍😍
I actually like this version more than the one on the commercial single. I just wish you'd included this version on the single too as a B side. You should release all of your raag n' blues stuff on an album, I'd buy it in an instant.
A most beautiful lady making some of the most beautiful music. So very emotional even though much of her music hasn't got English lyrics. Heard her today on BBC R4 for the first time - her father must be so, so very proud.
I am 70 years old and I promise my family to would not buy another guitar this year. Been looking at a DanElectro Coral Electric Sitar for a long time but that the so-called sympathic strings are crap, in fact, should be called harp strings. This instrument mixes the rich heritage of the Hindustani and Carnatic classical music with new electronics that enable to honor those traditions and yet explore uncharted territory in eclectic new music in a way that the raga-pop that the DanElectro cannot not. So, it is NOT a guitar and if buy one I would break my promise, right??? Well, maybe not. This woman composes and plays so excellently - I could never match her talents, THANK YOU! You are a Mighty Woman and let no one kept you down!

I will try to keep this brief. Do you remember the 1st piece of music that made you understand at the depths of your soul the power of music to move, excite, transport and entrance you? I am 71, I was 8 years old and I found an EP in amongst my dads 78's. It was by a blues guitarist called Big Bill Broonzy and it made me feel emotions I had never experienced before. I played it endlessly it was so exciting. At 11 I stood on top of a 2 metre pile of broken chairs watching the Rolling Stones not 7 metres from where I was, I knew my life would never be the same again. I saw Hendrix play "Voodoo Chile" live and I knew I could die content and happy. The 1st time I heard Little Feats' "Rock n Roll Doctor", The Smiths' "This Handsome Man", Tears for Fears' "Everybody Wants to Rule the World", Eminems' "Amityville", Lady Gagas' "Poker Face", Amy Winehouses' "Love is Losing Game", Mozarts' "Requiem", Haendels' "Ombra Mai Fu", most of Joni Mitchells' 1st 7 albums and anything by Arvo Part or Frank Zappa. Enough ... this piece, by this wonderfully talented musician, just reignited my soul. Bless you Abi Sampa! Big love from Barcelona.
Now this is what I call true musical talent! I want to hear you professionally compose and create for as long as I possibly live inshAllah. Stay blessed
DJ live mixing on a Veena... ...and sings. Sanskrit musicians invented 'trance' anyway, right. Indra would shoot lightning back in the day, so they had EDM trance back then too.
Dont need any substances to travel into the subconcious with this music for sure, it really glides through my soul in a way i havent felt in a while, bravo
Amazingly modest but more amazingly talented. Beautiful voice too when I listen to her quawali rendition of man kunto maula. Lots of praise for providing me with the opportunity to listen to your amazing talent.
Her voice is powerful and beautiful, she is very talented and deserves much recognition:) I hope you make more music like this, it should be illegal to listen to this in low volume wooooooooooooooowwwwww:):)
