Baby's face was glowing with happiness as she gently tapped the egg on the edge of the bowl..happy, that is, until the adults behaved immature and horrid. Glad she said her piece and showed them! That baby is more mature than all the adults in her life combined.

Something definitely happened. I think she continued her work because that’s all she COULD do after speaking up for herself and getting laughed at by the powerful adults. This was absolutely toxic behavior and it makes me sad.

These people have really lost their way. That little girl was so attentive about cracking the egg on the side of the bowl (like a grownup). An intelligent child stuck with less intelligent adults - it's been known to happen before.
That's one bright kid. Quick recovery from the shock. Logical observation and reaction illustrating a sense of wrong and right and elementary justice. You can see from her little face how emotionally invested in this activity she was, obviously getting quodos from undertaking an activity she had observed adults doing. Most kids would be so shocked they wouldn't be able to react that quickly or cogently. Most kids, once they'd recovered from the shock, would say "What did you do that for ?", but she goes straight to the judgemental. As if minor unfairness, betrayal and cruelty was a given in inter-personal relations . .a level of maturity of thinking above her years ? Potential lawyer or legislator there ?

These tiny humans are just treated as dolls or toys, by so called mature humans. The expectations suddenly changes within 24hrs and they are expected to understand instructions like grown-ups. People need child psychology short course certificate before they are eligible to decide on kids.
