Little Nightmares 3 looks Incredible (Trailer Reaction & Analysis) 

You have no idea how excited I am, I honestly expected the series to end at the second game, but this made me feel so happy

This might be an origin story for the Lady, considering the main character has an ability with the mirrors, and the lady is always breaking them.

Can I just say I really hope that these 2 characters get along better than in the last one?

As cool as I know this story is going to be, I hope we get a glimpse of Six again. Even if it's just a picture or an Easter Egg. It would be nice to have a nod to the original character because she's in every other game. It might be cool to see if she's truly escaped the maw at the end of Little Nightmares. Let's not forget, the maw was in the middle of the sea. Did she really escape?

Little nightmares has def gotta be one of the most underrated horror game series, it’s one of the only few that I actually have a passion for and I can’t wait for what this new game will bring to the universe :)

The Podcast was a great expansion to the Little Nightmares universe and certainly suggests 'our' real world still exists. The Nightmares universe is beyond ours, a different dimension, plane (hell?) or planet. Although they call it Nightmares the fact she can smell and sense is the hint this world exists as well. Cecily I'm going to assume is Six and either a friend he knew when he was younger or attempted to treat. He mentions they refer to the children as numbers. He, himself, the product of childhood trauma. His interest in Noon (Noone) seems to be in finding where his friend went to - we all know Six became another monster in this world, as did Mono. Although I'm going to wait for more of the Podcast, I wonder if the music box that Six was calmed by was a linkto her real life. Something she remembers. her story certainly suggests that children eventually become part of this world - a large nightmareish version of what hurt them in the real world. The lady of the maw is vain. Maybe she was traumatised for being ugly. The hunter created a family out of parts. Maybe he killed his family as a psychotic child. What got me about Six's monster is she looks as if her arms and legs are broken. Potentially she was beaten as a child? I'm very excited for the story to progress. The only thing that makes me cringe is the hint that they 'candy' is a drug that is being tested on these kids to send them to the nightmare plane. Matrix has been done... I'd rather it is something in the water like she suggests... edit: Six - beaten as a child. Hunter - shot through the head. Mono neglected by TV watching slobs. Teacher scolded for being stupid. Twins fed to obesity. Lady teased for being ugly. Doctor a child who suffered a parent who consistantly thought he was sick (I don't recall the world for parents that do this to their kids). Pretender an adopted child that felt she didn't fit in. Butler, his hands are tied so a bond/slave trauma? I can't think of a childhood trauma for a kid to become the janitor or the doll maker in very little nightmares?

Despite Tarsier Studios no longer being affiliated with the Little Nightmares Series, I'm impressed with how Bandai Namco and Supermassive Games have managed to keep the game as true to the first 2 games as possible.

Remember the movie called “9” that had those tiny, stitched up burlap characters in a kind of post apocalyptic world? That’s the vibe I’m getting from this trailer. Looking forward to seeing you play this! Thanks Mike!

I was kinda hoping that Mono would get a peaceful ending but this still looks so cool

I can’t wait to see how the story continues and how these characters tie in. I’ve loved these games ever since they came out, and loved the art style and how the games make you feel even without the characters having facial expressions. It makes me feel a emotion that I can’t feel with anything else, like a sadness and loss but also a happiness with the friendship that’s shown. I just love these games

Definitely seems like they're taking inspiration from the Little Nightmares comic series, the one where Six talks to other kids on the Maw? One of their stories was in a desert area, with a monster called the North Wind with a similar visual style to the weird way the wind moves in the trailer. Another story also had mirrors that could sort of be travelled through? They showed an ideal self that you reached through the mirror and swapped with. Though that feels like a more tentative connection. Really looking forward to this!

In my opinion I love the little nightmares animation medium, and they should make an animated adult horror movie with the little nightmares animation style. I hope they make a few more sequels, and can’t wait for the third game. I hope this one is much terrifying and unique jumpscares, and monsters. I think that the 4th little nightmares might be set underground, on a plane or in outerspace.

As a little nightmares fan, i screamed when i saw this! NOBODY WAS EXPECTING THIS AT ALL!! it looks so so cool! very steampunk-y in my opinion but still super cool! I remember loving little nightmares 2 when i got it as a gift and knowing that the studio behind the best horror games like Dark Pictures trilogy, Until dawn, etc. is gonna be working on this is just the cherry on top for an amazingly scary trequel!!

I cannot believe it, I don't know how to react except scream in my home. We finally know the name of the Little Nightmare III place called the "Nowhere". I am so hyped to know more about this new opus. Thank you Tarsier Studio for this masterclass and this unique universe you created 🎉❤

Literally the ending for number 2 broke me. I love the look of this though!! New characters to pull at our heartstrings but I wonder if Six will make an appearance, though she wasn’t in the trailer. It could be a whole new thing Edit: I have just watched the rest and Mike says that there is a chance we could see Six. I wonder if she might become a boss because the ending of 1 she gets that power and leaves the boat

This is very different. The world here almost looks.. apocalyptic. In the previous two games, it felt as if our child characters existed in a world not meant for them, while here it seems this world isn't meant for anyone. I hope we can get more answers regarding the world, but perhaps we'll only get more questions

The concept of the little nightmares world is so clear to me and so original. Its a world where you either die as the hunted, or live long enough to become the hunter

The thing I realized is that it switches from day to night throughout the series. Chronologically, it goes: day, night, day. So that must mean this should probably be pre six/post six.

I'm so happy we're getting a new game and one with a new perspective. The world of Little Nightmares while only has 2 games is still so hidden and you crave to learn so much more. This new perspective makes me excited for what else they do with DLCs and other ideas I just love the endless possibilities they have with this series. I just love that this game series has always managed to tell so much through so little making you want to learn more.

This week I finished both of the games. Little Nightmares 2 specificaly like 3 hours before this reveal. It still makes a huge impact on me, both of these games are absolutely amazing.

One of the first remarks you made about the colour interested me, considering LN1 had a purple-ish colour scheme, and LN2 had a blue colour scheme, the warm colour scheme is quite a shift… it MIGHT indicate a happier ending perhaps? Or not, know little nightmares that’s not a very accurate estimate, knowing little nightmares.(ALSO! Little idea, the massive baby might’ve been inspired by the LN2 ending concept art of the weird flesh baby!) also, I wonder if the crow guy might have an evil mirror twin (like six’s shadow twin thing) and that’s why it can travel through mirrors? Idk, just ideas lol, great video analysis big man

This is great to see. I wasn't getting my hopes up about the job listing for someone to work on the game but the trailer looks so good! I like the mechanic of needing the light to keep the bugs away, it reminds me of the Plague Tale games. I hope they make good use of that.

yet another blatant copy paste from my comment on a different video, but i’m really hyped for this, i just hope it lives up to expectations. i am kind of worried that there doesn’t seem to be any huge twists on gameplay so far. the thing that made 2 so exciting was the opportunity to have 2 characters together and interacting; so far, it almost feels like a reskin with a different environment and characters, not to mention the different developers. then again, this trailer was fairly small. maybe i’m worrying for nothing. i’m really curious to see if we’ll the return of any previous characters. mono and the runaway kid’s fates are set in stone in seems, but six’s is a lot more open as to where it could go and theory’s as to what exactly she is and what she does after the first game. something that would be interesting to see would be our cannibalistic little friend as an enemy, rather than an ally. we’ve seem over and over again that she isn’t a very good person, and her interesting appetite doesn’t lend well to allies. it would be spooky to see her acting as the antagonist, considering we know just how well she fits into that role; a myth children fear and speak in hushed tones about. i like her a lot, and she’s one of my favorite characters. i really hope this turns out as well as it has the potential to; and the new environment and protagonists are cool and this could be a wonderful addition to this series. in the meantime, i wait in anticipation. :)

There is a mirror monster in the Little Nightmares comics. If the main characters are travelling through mirrors, then it's quite possible that the mirror monster would appear in the game. However, the mirror monster isn't the only monster associated with mirrors.
